I assembled this myself. It was straightforward. Luckily I had an unused room where I could leave parts spread out, as I could only do this in small blocks of time between other chores. When completed, the piece has wheels, so it is easy to move if you assemble it anywhere on the same floor where you intend to use it. Personally, I found it satisfying to watch the thing come together.My kitchen surfaces tend to accumulate things, making meal prep difficult. Having this surface dedicated to prep is great, as is having storage space for things specifically used in cooking right at hand. I love it. Cleaned up, it is sleek and neat. It can be moved out of the way between meals if desired.The cup hooks seem a little wobbly, but that wasn't an important feature for us.This is a very good solution to our kitchen's limitations at a good price.

love, love, love!! It did take a while to put this together but it was very well worth it. The quality is great, the storage capacity is great. It functions as an island or a side cabinet. It is wonderful with the wheels on the bottom so that I can roll it where I need it.

I love the look of this piece, especially the top because it doesn't look cheap. However, the drawer bottoms and backboard are thin and the wheel hardware are definitely cheap. Drawers easily slam shut if you're not careful, which don't pull out all the way. The item itself is 32.5 inches tall while the actual kitchen counter is 36 inches tall. It therefore encourages you to slouch while cooking which is the biggest downside. It feels also a bit foreign because of that height discrepancy but I'm getting used to it.The extra storage AND counterspace was needed in my new apartment that only has 21inches of counterspace, with cupboards that only fit my wares. So I've been using this new island for my baking supplies and as a pantry.And in case anyone was wondering what the back looks like (I sure did since it's a floating piece), I included a photo. I think it looks pretty nice. I don't mind that being exposed to the entryway. And pardon the mess: I took these pictures after having baked with it. Also to show that it's coming to good use already.The hooks on the side do come in handy, however I wish they locked onto the pole rather than free-hanging because sometimes removing a utensil will take the hook with it. I'm not a huge fan of how close my spatula is to the floor but this is better than nothing.As for sturdiness, I'm always concerned about that when it comes to Bolo furniture at this price point. This island doesn't wobble and the wheels don't glide around even when unlocked which is super nice. You have to give it a firm push/pull in order to move it around.This took me, by myself, about 3.5 hours to build. The instructions were mostly clear and easy to follow. Step 4 was a little difficult only because there's a lot of overlapping dotted lines, so at first I wasn't completely sure what went where. But I figured it out.In step 6, it shows to place board 8 into board 4, but that makes it into a free moving teeter-totter that will absolutely clatter to the floor (not good when you have below neighbors and no carpet). I'd suggest screwing in board 7, jump to step 7, attach board 7 to board 2. Once that's secure, THEN put board 8 in. Doing this also makes it easier to line everything up and connect at the correct lengths, which also reduces potential damage.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. The only two things I'd change are the height and the drawer tech. I wish it was all real wood but this will work for now.

WOW. It took us a long time to put together this cart. Every item was numbered, so it was very easy to find. All holes were drilled in the right places. Very important to use manual screw driver so you can feel it. Do not use electric drill. Doors and drawers are all in the right place with even amount of space on all sizes. Very well made.Good quality rollers make it easy to move around, I don’t lock the rollers because it is very stable to use without locking.I gave it a five. It was well worth the time putting it together, the direction are small but you can take a picture of the box and blow it up to be able to see it better.

This Kitchen Island is amazing! It is just as pictured, in the product photo-although I think it looks BETTER in person.addressing the comments from others about the height-we chose this height because we can snug it under our existing breakfast bar for added options. I have gone extra miles with a few photos showing the versatility of this beautiful Kitchen Island.Now, as impressed as we are with the Kitchen Island we have to share how completely IMPRESSED we are with Vevor Customer Service!!!The package arrived a day ahead of schedule, during a very busy week. We did not open until about a week later and everything was perfect, intact, no missing parts. My husband started to put it together and attempted to move it without assistance when it was only about 1/4 of the way together. It collapsed and sheared off two large wood parts and there was no way to assemble without replacement. This in NO WAY was anything negative to do with the product. He was disheartened. I contacted Vevor and explained all of this and they sent us the two broken parts replacements. It did take some time to get here but coming from the other side of the world, totally understandable.It will take you a days work to assemble, figure 6 hours investment of your time.We have discovered Vevor has MANY more products of all kinds and are looking forward to placing some orders in the future. Highly recommend this item, and Company!!!

Versatile island
I bought this island for my sewing room. It was easy to put together, and the top when up is the right size for my cutting board or my ironing pad. I can move it around so easily. I would definitely recommend this item.
Perfect for a small apartment!
Exactly what I needed for my small kitchen space. Now I have more counter and storage space while adding a cute addition to the kitchen. I love it :) It took me about 2.5 hours to assemble.
Ok, but not great
The base of this product is dair quality, the countertop is very poor quality. I would use this as a "throw away" piece of furniture, best for first apartment or student dorm setting. Feels like it may only last a year.
