This is my first pair of Salomon shoes..I've had them for just over a year and they still look good. Right now they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear them every day. My feet stay dry and comfortable. They are very easy to keep clean.One small issue; I have to double tie the laces because they keep loosing up no matter how tight you tie them.

The Alpha has a great fit and is very comfortable. Really big deal is wore them in the rain officiating a sport, I was on the field in bad weather for 3.5 hours and my feet are dry and warm from my ankles down. Nice grip and durability.The only change I will make will be the shoelaces, I think a thicker lace would suit me better for comfort and support! Will provide pics if requested.

I wear these shoes everyday. They really shine out on the trails though. The deep tread grips rough terrain really well. The rubber could be a bit more grippy on rock, but its not horrible. On dirt/gravelly terrain, this shoe is awesome. Its surprisingly breathable despite the gortex liner. My feet sweat alot and i havent gad any issues with these shoes. The gortex is awesome. Not having to jump over puddles just to land in a deeper one is amazing. With these you can walk/run right through with no issue. The sole could be a bit softer. If i hike too long in these i do notice my lower back gets a bit stiff, but not horribly stiff. Overall a great shoe.

This is my second pair of Salom shoes and I found them because I have medium width feet bording on narrow if that makes sense. First pair was mid-height hiking boot and fits me great. So I have the Alpha a try instead of buying a new running shoe in to walk. Running shoes don't do well in water.These might fit better then my first pair. No heel slip at all. Walked dog 1.5 miles on sidewalk and they were perfect comfort wise. Not quite as light as a running shoe but close for a walker.This will be my shoe on my European vacation this fall. An all day walker that is ready for rain. This appears to me a perfect shoe for a 4 hour hike as well.If I had a wide foot, I would seek a wide version of these or look at something else.

I don’t use these for running, so I can’t comment on that aspect, but for hiking and general use they are comfortable and have an aggressive sole. I like speed laces, which these don’t come with, so I replaced the stock laces with a set of elastic speed laces. I like the water proof design to keep my feet dry in wet grass.

I miss the speed cross 4 as the speed cross line gets cheaper so does the quality of shoe. Still has exceptional water resistance. is lightweight And comfortable.

Dado que no es invierno y este modelo es gotetex no lo he probado en actividad, así que desconozco su comportamiento en lluvia pero a primera vista la talla es más holgada que la misma que tengo en los Speedcross 5 gtx, especialmente en ancho y la entresuelo es más amable, no tan rígida, sin ser para nada blanda, es desde luego más firme que modelos como Trabuco 11 o NB Hierro V7. El taqueado de la suela es prominente, no creo que tenga problemas en terrenos blandos. La calidad parece muy buena y el precio de Bolo 77€ me parece más que correcto. Espero que su duración sea tan extraordinaria como dicen las reviews. La talla 43 1/3 es holgada como la 43 de NB y pelín mas que el 42,5 de Asics Trabuco.
