Never owned ceramic cookware before. I was totally pleased to see the perfectcoating on each pan, really nice quality all around.Cooked an omelette, came out perfect and slipped right off the pan.Easy to clean. no need for dishwasher which is bad anyway as detergents are abrasive

These pans are fantastic. They feel solid and heavy, but not too heavy, just right! I have a gas stove and after daily use, the bottoms still look brand new. The inside cleans very easy and seems like it will last for years. I will be adding more of the GP5’s to my collection.

These have worked great for us. No issues with stick and the materials have been holding up great. We are sure to use them as instructed; heat up the pan with butter, not oil spray and they work like a charm. We use them daily. They clean up easily afterwards as well. We will likely continue to build out the rest of our collection.

These are really nice pans and work great but we had problems getting them to work with our induction stove. At first we thought our stove was at fault and called for a repairman, then we realized the only time it was cycling off was with these pans. We gave them away and our stove functions fine with the old pans (also Greenpan).

I was wary of having to be careful when washing them. I have no patience for scrubbing. Nope, not needed. If anything sticks, boil a little water in the pan and it comes off. But usually water and a sponge suffice.I am very satisfied.

My wife is slowly swapping out our traditional non-stick Teflon pans over to non-toxic cookware. These GreenPan frying pans are very impressive as they combine 15 years of innovation to create this state-of-the-art GP5 collection. These pans are part of the Infinite8, which is GreenPan’s 8th generation and most advanced ceramic non-stick coating, which makes it last longer and perform better.GreenPan is proud of the things that they don’t put in their pans which are PFOA, PFAS, lead, and cadmium. GreenPan also claims that even if their pans get overheated, they won’t release harmful fumes. If you can cook with non-toxic cookware, why take the chance of cooking on traditional non-stick pans where toxic chemicals can leach out and build up in your body over time?These pans have now become my family’s favorites. This set includes an 9.5” and 11” frying pan. Besides being non-toxic, which is most important to my wife, the next important thing to her is the nonstick properties of the cookware. Other pans claim to be nonstick, but when she cooked an egg with a little oil or butter, total fail. Half of the egg, or more, was stuck to the pan, and she ended up with a broken yolk. She had to soak the pan overnight and scrub with elbow grease to get the pan clean. Not with these frying pans. She preheated the pan for at least 90 seconds on medium-low heat, used a little bit of bacon grease, and scrambled the eggs. Nothing stuck to the pan at all! I read online that these pans have stay-flat bases that flex when heated so oil stays where you put it so you use less. It was so easy to clean afterwards with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. No egg got stuck on the rivets because the handle is reverse riveted, so the inside stays nice and smooth and easy to clean. Avoid using scrubber sponges, nylon brushes, abrasive detergents, and cooking sprays as all will damage the coating. Even though the pan is metal utensil safe, silicone utensils are best to use as it will extend the life of your pan.I also noticed the pans conducts heat very well when I cooked chicken breasts. There were no hot or cold spots. I also like that the stainless handles stay cool while cooking on the stovetop because of the V-shape cutout design. What’s really impressive is that the pans are oven-safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, so these are perfect for searing steaks and then finishing them off in the oven.My wife also made my daughter tteokbokki in the 11” pan, which is a Korean street food snack made with chewy, cylindrical shaped rice cakes and has a delicious hot and spicy gochugang sauce. The sauce usually reduces in the pan and is sometimes difficult to clean because the rice cakes thicken up the sauce and gets stuck to the pan. She’s had no problem with rice cakes sticking or having to scrub the reduced sauce from the sides of the pan at all.These pans are beautiful and of great quality. The body of the pan is 5mm thick and is built to last. My wife thinks that the navy-blue color is absolutely gorgeous and feels chic and regal.Although it is quite expensive, this frying pan set is an investment that will pay off in the long run. You will save money over time by not having to replace it like other traditional nonstick cookware and cooking is much more enjoyable with the right equipment. With proper care, these pans will last a long time and perform well no matter if you’re a beginning cook or advanced. Very highly recommended.

Greenspan GP5 not great on induction elements

Based on consumer reviews we bought Greenspan GP5 skillets for our induction range. While the pans seemed durable enough and cleaned well, they did not perform well as skillets on induction elements. It seemed only mildly magnetic, took ages to heat and boiled food rather than sautéd or browned it. It was frustrating since it had been so well rated so if you have an induction range, don’t use this line of pans. We called the company helpline and their solution was just to turn the element on high which is contrary to their written instructions for use.
