My husband is a cigar lover & personally I don't know anything about the topic, but we recently moved for the army & he left his larger humidor/collection back home. I wanted to get him a smaller one for our new place so he can have a little collection at our home away from home and took a chance on this product after reading the reviews.I can't give major deets because, ya know, wife, BUT my husband loves it, says the seal is great & the quality is great. We immediately went to our local cigar shop and got him his favs to stock in it.So far he says the humidity is holding nicely and he loves the drawer in the bottom to keep his lighter, matches & cutter.He loves it so much he has insisted on incorporating it into our shelving decor. I'm glad I got the black to match our furniture for that reason. (lol)All in all definitely recommend as a gift that's both wife approved and husband approved.

The hygrometer came right off the moment I opened the box. Maybe mine is defective but I did not expect that.Update: I did not return the humidor seeing all the great things on the reviews so I tried and was able to put back the hygrometer back and secure. After 2 weeks with this humidor I must say the reviews are on point. This thing is amazing. It preserves the humidity level of the cigars very well. I compare the readings from the humidor hygrometer to a smart hygrometer reading from Govee and it is on point. The only caveat with this humidor for me at least is the size. I mean I am not a heavy smoker so I don’t need to store 25 cigars but in terms storage the most cigars you can fit in there is 10-15 without using humidity control packets like I do. Besides that, this humidor is a great thought out product and would definitely give it a 👍🏽!

Works great! I wiped it down with distilled water and let it sit with nothing in it for 24 hours. It hold humidity perfect now!
