Pro: video recording quality, different camera angles and settings. Mobile app wireless connection and intuitive interface. 10m water resistance without any accessory (just straight out of the box). Super compact and easy to carry everywhere.Cons: not a good photo camera. You got to be extra careful with the lenses

I purchased this camera to record parts of a 4000 mile scenic motorcycle trip. The footage is amazing and having access to 360 degrees around you is so cool! I mounted the camera on the handlebars of the bike. No shake or vibration is recorded. I have the invisible selfie stick to raise the camera higher—still perfect stability. It does take some practice to edit the mass amount of footage you are able to record. I also purchased the lens covers—which are a good buy considering the bugs and debris that could effect the lenses when riding. Additionally, the battery life is not very long when continuously recording, so I opted to plug into the bike’s power socket via USB-C cord and adapter. This worked great. The camera is small, lightweight and easy to take on and off the bike to secure when not in use or when off the bike. Overall, great camera, provides excellent real-time video. Highly recommend.

Best camera to give drone like footage . I take this on vacation with me everywhere ! Love that its waterproof. Easy to use and the app makes it easy to download videos fast

still playing with it and getting to know the in's and out's but i think it's money well spent. there are some issues with editing afterward however. if using the phone app you are very limited on options of where to export the finished video. i know for a fact that i have nearly 60 gb of space on my iphone but the app tells me there is not enough room. the only other options are social media accounts and if you don't have that as many people don't ( shock!!! we are not all addicted to the lunacy of sharing every little detail of our lives with the entire world!!) you are left with no way to save the video you have created. insta 360 must do something about this issue! insta 360 studio for desktop computers is the obvious alternative but it is really glitchy and often does not work correctly. i am hopeful they will address these issues in future software upgrades.

The media could not be loaded. Insta360 continues to be intrusive. I should not have to download an app and allow my data to be accessed. Why do you need my contacts. ... marketing data grab. Setup is still buggy and my camera froze. There's a lot of do this do that try again n again. 🤨 The app is not easy to use. It's still basic and requires a lot of time. If I shoot 360 then it should be able to download as 360 so then I can view it like I shot it and upload it without wasting time. It's not that simple. Stop making us have to "activate" in order to use a camera. I had the same issues with the One R. It's an expensive paperweight.As for the camera it's nicely constructed. The form factor is a nice break from the rectangular box. Alla back in the day form factor of mini camcorder recorders. The picture quality is good but not great. It is quite soft. Audio is good. The touchscreen is nice and works well. I like it and will be using it single lens quite a lot. Image stabilization is great. And it's waterproof. It's a good camera 🤳There is no auto rotate in single lens. Can't mount it upside-down. The camera gets quite warm. I imagine in summer it's hot. Battery life is ok could be better. 1hr or so. There is no lens cover or protection included. A pouch thing is included. May look for a cage or case but they could have included a simple lens cover like they did with the One R but I guess they decided on a pouch.I like the camera but don't like the forced use of their app. It's so intrusive. I had to turn off a lot of my security just to activate this. Therefore it gets 1 star and at $500 it should be simpler and faster to do a 360 video. Good camera bad app. 🫤 Another issue is they require a signature. If you're going to do that you need to give us working folks an option to electronically sign off. I specifically ordered this to arrive on a weekend so I would be home. It did not arrive on time and I had to take a day off on short notice just so I could sign off because it was delayed. How am I suppose to buy more Insta360 products if I don't make money .... 🫡

The video quality is amazing along with their editing software. They make it super easy to upload and edit your videos. The battery lasts about as long as I expect it to for a camera of this caliber, the 360 aspect uses a lot of extra power but can still get 5 hr of filming on one charge. My only problem with the camera is how easy it is for the lenses to scratch, mine got scratched first day out of the box and now I have to send it back to get fixed for an extra charge.
