This product is everything I hoped for . My 99 kawasaki vulcan 800 had a bad flote in the carburetor so I decided to replace the whole thing I did it myself and saved 500 bucks in labor from a shop. This carburetor has my bike running better than before. Thank you so much to the company that still sell these. 💯 ❤️

This seems to be a well built carburetor, and did bolt up to my 2001 Kawasaki Drifter 800. However, my Drifter requires a throttle position sensor. This carb does not have that, or any provision to add it.So, short story. Looks good, works properly, but isn’t one size fits all.

If you have a Vulcan 800, DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!The fuel inlet faces between the cylinders, NOT UPWARDS, so the fuel inlet will contact the EPA breather on the rear cylinder, and the carb will not seat properly. See pictures. NOT FOR VULCAN 800s!!
