However, it was very shiny and too new looking so I took a nail file to trying to scuff it up, it started turning rose gold so I stopped and painted a matte clear coat which worked like a charm! I get so many compliments and people are surprised I just ordered it from Bolo.

Gift for my husband - he likes it a lot and appreciates that it’s “western” without being too casual. He also likes that’s it’s different than a regular tie and has gotten many compliments. That’s a win, for sure! Haven’t had it long but it’s holding up just fine and feels like it’s made of quality material.

Wore this to the Cowboy Carter tour and it was so much fun! As a bug girl i’ve got much appreciation for a cicada so this was super cute. It’s super nice for the price I paid. The actual bug itself held up and wasn’t slipping at all. Perfect size for a bolo tie and was comfortable to wear for a long night out.
