I really like these lentils-they are very good and very convenient to use. My only complaint is that every can was dented. They were well packaged, so the dents did not occur during shipping. I am deducting 1 star for the damage to the cans.

I use this product to make quick curry for dinner. Mix one can of these lentils, a can of diced tomatos, some dehydrated onions, crushed red pepper, curry powder, cumin, turmeric, and then microwave to the desired temperature. I may add some packaged protein, usually salmon, as well. Very filling and a bit spicy. Nice product.

Sorry I don't use a cell phone with which I could take a picture of these.The thing I find valuable about these beans is that they are very firm, so that, even if the can is not stuffed to the top, you still get a healthy serving from each can, because the beans are so dense, not slimy or sloshing around in the can.

I have been buying this product for over 2 years and the lentils were great.Now I received a new order in January 2025, and the lentils are uneatable!!!First, after you rinse the empty can with warm water, you can smell a strong plastic smell.Second, at least half of a can is water now.Third, Westbrae must have changed something in production since the background color of the cans has changed too.
