This is a beautiful blackish type stainless steel flatware. It comes with a tray to put the flatware in. That was quite a positive surprise for me. I hand wash and dried each piece. Still let it air out a little bit and put it in the tray. I know someone that has the same set. They put it through the dishwasher and it is starting to rust, probably two years later. It doesn’t say dishwasher safe instructions. But I will wash and dry them By hand.

I don't have anything terrible to say about this set, but I do have slight regret. First off, the price is fantastic for the amount of silverware you get. The utensils are all good weight and fit comfortable in your hand. I hate the steak knives - which I didn't purchase this set for but they are very light (although very sharp) and have these oil like marks after washing I can not get off. The forks have this ever so faint silver tip along the edge of the tines, which isn't a big deal but something I noticed. I really wanted to love this set, and while I do like it, I doubt it will hold up long term. With that said, I do feel yu get an amazing amount for your money and if you use these for maybe larger get togethers rather than everyday, they may hold up

Good, but rust on the steak knives.
