These are the best. I hate splatter in the microwave. I keep my microwave in a lower Cubbard because it takes up too much counter space. Needless to say I have to bend down to clean the messes in the microwave. This splatter plate saves me from having to clean the microwave all the time.I bought one for my daughter because her kids never cover their food on the microwave. When I gave it to her she said that I wasted my money because the kids won’t put it over the food. I said it is magnetic and even if they don’t grab it from the roof of the microwave to cover their food , just because it’s there it will catch most of the spatter. It’s much easier to grab the splatter screen and clean that than to awkwardly try to clean inside of the microwave.The ingenious part of this screen is that it is magnetic and stays up on the roof of the microwave when you’re not using it. When you’re done using it you just lift it back up to the roof of the microwave. Love it

It’s a really great concept and this product would be perfect if it was a little bit deeper. When I put it over my food to warm it up, the top of the container touches my food and it grosses me out to the point where I don’t really use the container anymore, it just sits inside of my microwave and now I have to clean it and the rest of the microwave which defeats the whole purpose. I’m honestly shocked there’s not deeper, better fitting container out there that is still magnetic and simple looking like this one. Can’t have the best of both worlds I guess…
