This is my first ever owned Echo Speaker, however...Design: I honestly fell in love with the design. I think it's very modern and the way it incorporates the clock with the speaker is very well done.Sound: I'm honestly impressed by the sound quality. It is very loud, crisp and clear. It isn't the ABSOLUTE loudest or best speaker out there, however, it performs incredibly well. The bass very good and very present for such a small device.Alexa: The Alexa feature on it is amazing. Very versatile with what you can do with it and it's very responsive as well. I love that you can control so many things with it if you have the right accessories.Screen: At first glance I though the whole top portion was a screen, but it's only a small square in the center. The screen itself is very bright and pleasing to look at. Touch screen is very responsive and decently customizable, from color to clock format, but I wish it had a few more options for how you want the clock to look like, though, it's not an issue at all.Connectivity: Very seamless and easy to handle with your phone (Alexa App). There are many options on how to use your Echo Spot and though I've only gone through a few, I've seen the rest of the things I can use the app for, and it is so versatile. I'm sure WiFi connectivity matters when it comes to response time between your phone and the Echo, but the response time was very quick in my experience.Cord: It brings a decently long cord. Would be nice if the plug was a bit less bulky, but again, minor inconvenience, not an issue at all.Overall, this is a solid product and I highly reccomend it if you've never had one. I did buy it with a few things in mind though. I wanted to get the most out of it, so I did order a fan and some light bulbs to control with it, and I can see myself wanting to get other things to use my Echo Spot with, however, the speaker on its own is still a great Smart Speaker/Clock.

Seems to me the marketing of this new Echo is pitched to be used in the bedroom as a modern version of the old nightstand alarm clock radio. Which it absolutely is. And a great version of that. It displays a few cool versions of the clock to choose from. It includes day/night indicator, temperature, weather icon, day, date and month. And looks really sleek and unobtrusive.But this little bad boy is so much more. We use it in the family room / living room. It’s that good looking. The microphone is improved over previous versions, so it can hear commands clearly from across the room. And the sound for music is phenomenal.I got it as an upgrade from an older model and am very happy I upgraded. Would highly recommend.

Loving the Spot as it has a nice yet subtle display that is easy to read with nice features that are easily programmable The sound is rich and clear, an upgrade from my echo dot 5th generation. It linked up to my Govee smart bulb with no issues and works great via voice commands or using the app. I also like that I can link my smartphone to it and play all the music on my phone thru its speakers which sound much better than my phone's speakers.I would have given 5 stars except that the weather temperature on the display doesn't keep up real time with local forecast as it seems rather slow to update unless/until I ask Alexa the weather at which time it updates to what Alexa says that gives me the weather temperature that matches my outside conditions. No big deal as I usually ask Alexa anyway. I did try to troubleshoot that issue with Bolo tech with no real solutions. At any rate that's my only issue with the Spot as everything else works and looks great and I am completely satisfied, especially seeing how I got the spot on Prime days for 55% off regular price making it even more worth the price.Update: the issue with the display showing the correct temperature has gotten worse as it now says 85° on the display and it's 96° outside according to local weather. I asked Alexa and it says it's 96° outside which is correct but the display hasn't changed and it still says 85°. Everything else is fine so if you want a good Alexa smart device that does everything except give the correct weather then it's a good buy but only if you can get it at a discounted price. It would be worth the full price if everything worked as it should (meaning the weather bon the display).

*In attached picture the clock numbers look blue/teal, they aren't, that's just the way the low light in my room makes it look when I took a picture, it does not look like that in real life!I love the quality of this, it is amazing, something you would expect from an Bolo device. It is easy to use, you just talk to it and it listens (the touch screen works but i haven'tused it besides to cancel an alarm when it is going off). The sound quality is great too alot of people say the dot is so much better, I really don't notice a difference when playing 80s & 90s Country Music, it still fills the room even if it is not pointed directly at me. The display, it is great, way better than I though, it looks tiny in the pictures but in real life the screen is actually pretty large! In full light the bezel makes it look like the full upper half is a screen. I like that it shows the date, time, and weather on the screen, and how the display goes to a red at night if you have night mode enabled, it is way less bright then.2 common complaints I don't have.• Doesn't default to homescrewn when playing music, well it is meant for your night stand where you are 2 feet away from it, you would be able to see the small clock, if you need it to go to the home screen just say "Alexa, go home."• Alarm auto snoozed, no it doesn't, just disable tap gestures, that's where the problem is. I have not yet had this happen to me and I set an alarm for 6am every morning.This is a great device, I've had it since the beginning of October 2024, I love it! Way better than echo dot with clock! I definitely recommend it to anyone reading this!

Acts as both a clock and an informative Alexa.

Elegante y poderoso sonido

The media could not be loaded. El modelo en sí, es muy vistoso, tiene acabados muy elegantes y de buen material, el sonido tiene una diferencia de 3 decibeles más en comparación con el echo dot 5ta., realmente no es mucha la diferencia, sin embargo se alcanzan a apreciar un poco más los bajos.La pantalla touch definitivamente le aporta mucho, se puede cambiar la apariencia del reloj, los niveles de brillo y control de música.El tamaño es un 30% más grande que el echo dot 5ta., supongo que es para compensar la ubicación de la bocina, debido al tamaño de la misma.El voltaje de uso en promedio es de 2.5 watts con brillo máximo...ya en modo música vol. 10, alcanza un promedio de 3.6 watts, lo cual ahorra bastante energía para la potencia que mantiene!El modo nocturno es conveniente si te molesta la luz de la pantalla por las noches, la pequeña desventaja es que esta no se puede apagar en su totalidad, pero realmente no es molesto, ya que la pantalla tiene tecnología de ahorro y baja luz.El mostrar las carátulas de las canciones es bastante bueno, sin embargo: no me agradó, que al reproducir música, las carátulas de las canciones se mantienen todo el tiempo.Solución: le tienes que dar la indicación: "Alexa, inicio" para que nuevamente muestre el reloj.Por lo que, si de alguna forma te interesa escuchar música y ver tu reloj al mismo tiempo desde una distancia de más de 2 mts. Será casi imposible visualizar el pequeñito reloj que aparece sobre las carátulas de la música...espero tengan alguna actualización a ese detalle.En general estoy muy contento, definitivamente vale la pena!Por mi parte yo le daría un 4.5 en general.Iré actualizando si descubro más detalles en pro o vs.

Perfect bedside clock

I bought this clock for my bedside table and it’s perfect. It’s simplistic design with core Alexa features make this ideal for any room. I have been looking for a clock that would have a dim option for during those late/early hours so that the clock wouldn’t glow at night and this one is great. I set a time frame that I want to put my clock on sleep mode and the time changes to a dim red (so easy on the eyes if I wake up in the night). I also like that you can personalize the clock face (i.e. colours, weather, etc) to whatever suits your style. The speakers are also on par with other Alexa devices (clear, good treble/bass). I don’t have anything negative to say at this point. I did have a bit more trouble getting it set up, there were some pairing issues with the app but it eventually worked. Overall, I would buy this again for other bedrooms in my house.

Excelente diseño y funcionalidad

El diseño de este ultimo echo (spot) es increible, yo lo compre en blanco por el contraste del negro de la pantalla, pero estoy seguro que en los demás colores de igual manera se verá muy bonito.Hablando de funcionalidades:- Básicamente funciona de igual manera que cualquer otro echo/alexa, aunque puede variar una que otra cosa debido a la nueva pantalla integrada.- Las animaciones que se muestran en diferentes ocasiones (al pasar un minuto en el rejol, al poner musica, al crear una alarma, etc., etc.) son muy bonitas, puedes personalizar tanto el reloj con diferentes diseños (que probablemente con el tiempo se agreguen más) y con diferentes colores (magenta, violeta, verde aqua, azul, naranja y lima).- La pantalla es táctil/touch y por esto, puedes acceder a configuraciones rapidas dentro del mismo Echo Spot (para una configuración mas detallada, abre la app de Alexa), ya sea, cambiar el color y diseño del reloj, regular el brillo de la pantalla, bajar/subir volumen, etc., etc.Puntos malos:- El Echo llegó en una bolsa de carton con burbujas (al menos a mi y a varios más) siento que al ser un dispositivo electrónico, debería llegar al menos en una caja de cartón con mucha más protección- La pantalla no es un circulo como se podría pensar, es un rectangulo en el centro de toda la parte negra. Cuando está el brillo alto o al máximo, se notan los bordes de esta. De lo contrario, en espacios obscuros/no tan iluminados, no se nota para nada.Conclusión:Por el precio que esta en este momento a miembros Prime, es una excelente opción. Como se aprecia en las fotos, se nota mas grande que una Alexa con reloj (olvidé el nombre) pero no es tanto como para estorbar, el tamaño es ideal. valió mucho la pena por el simple hecho de ser mucho mas elegante, con mas funcionalidades y obviamente, mas nueva y actualizada.Seguramente con el tiempo se agreguen funcionalidades para facilitar muchas mas tareas. Compra esta Alexa si quieres tener un reloj digital, una bocina de buen sonido y volúmen y obviamente, una asistente para tus tareas :)))Gracias por llegar hasta aqui y espero haber aclarado la mayoria de dudas :))

Estoy encantado con el nuevo Bolo Echo Spot (modelo de 2024). Su diseño elegante y compacto se adapta perfectamente a mi mesita de noche, y la calidad de sonido es impresionante para su tamaño. Alexa responde rápidamente a mis comandos, y la pantalla es clara y brillante, ideal para ver la hora o el clima de un vistazo.Lo que más me gusta es la función de despertador inteligente. La posibilidad de programar alarmas personalizadas con sonidos vibrantes y la opción de despertar con mi música favorita es un gran plus. Además, las funciones de casa inteligente se integran sin problemas, lo que hace que controlar las luces y otros dispositivos sea muy sencillo.En resumen, el Echo Spot es una excelente adición a cualquier hogar. No solo es práctico y funcional, sino que también añade un toque moderno a cualquier habitación. ¡Muy satisfecho con mi compra!
