I haven’t put it in the tank yet, But I also have a 500w in my 125 gal, and it works great. My water temp. is right on. So I’m expecting the same with the 300w in my 75 gal. I really like the heaters. Thank you very much.
5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST HEATER FOR THE MONEY
I have had eheim and fluval heaters and let me tell you, they do not hold a candle to this one especially considering the price.The eheim was always so annoying as the temperature you set would never match the tank temp even after countless attempts at calibration. Also, the suction cups used on them are very very weak and begin to be less effective over time. In addition to this due to the design everytime you want to adjust the temp you must stick your hands in the tank and manually move the dial (and given the fact that I could never get the dial temp to match the actual tank temp it would produce, this was such a hassle)!I only wish I would have discovered these amazing heaters sooner. Stick it in, and then you have an external control unit that you set the temperature with with the touch of a button. Truly a beautiful thing. I purchased 2 of the 300W units for my new 75 gallon build (I know I could have purchased a higher wattage but I prefer 2 individual units in the event one fails there is still a backup and if it fails in the sense that one misreads temp and overheats, it is not powerful enough to overheat the tank).I have both of them mounted behind my 3d background next to each intake of my canister filters in opposite corners and it is performing FLAWLESSLY thus far.Much like every other Hygger aquarium product, this is of the upmost quality and I am such a huge fan.

I purchased this heater in November and it failed in April. However, with very little hassle The sent me a brand new one in a few days. Aslong as that first one was a dud and this one lasts ill be happy. Heats well. Easy to use. Until failure kept the pond perfect.
1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible Heater - Stay Far Far Away
This Heater has proven itself to be a DISASTER. I will tell you, stay away from such and order anything else. I’ve had two of these heaters and the first one malfunctioned and we couldn’t get it to work as designed. The second heater, we’ve had for a few months. After coming home from work, we noticed our Blue hippo, cleaner shrimp and a few corals not doing well. After examining the situation, the heater failed to auto stop and super heated the tank to 99 degrees. After spending hours with fans and sealed containers with ice, we have lost over 3K worth of fish, coral and inverts. This heater and company is garbage, like their products. Poor quality, even worse craftsmanship. Steer clear, be warned!

I waited a while before writing this review, as I wanted to make sure that it was long lasting and durable. I love the ease of set up, operation, and the constant display of the current temperature. We will see how durable it is this winter. It is such a great price, I will get another one to take some of the strain of this one this winter.Update:This is my third of these. The first was a test. It worked great. So I ordered another since a different brand heater burned out. Then I purchased this one for another tank. All are running now. I expect they will give me years of good service. I like the current temp, set temp, and wattage display. Very good design.
4.0 out of 5 stars It Works, But the Temp Reading is Way Off
This heater does its job and holds a steady temperature, but the temperature reading on the display is totally inaccurate. There’s no way to calibrate it, so I just set it about 2 degrees higher than the temperature I actually want.Once you figure that out, it runs consistently and keeps the tank stable, which is the important part. It’s not a bad option as long as you’re okay making that adjustment and verifying the temperature with a separate thermometer.

This is an amazing heater, super easy to use and very accurate with its digital screen. This product unfortunately did stop working for me after a year of use. I did reach out to Hygger and after a couple of back-and-forth emails Hygger did send me a replacement. The customer support was amazing and they stand behind their product. I will continue to buy other Hygger heaters as I set up new aquariums.Thank you Hygger team

Bien, calidad vs precio, lo recomiendo
Lo compre para un acuario marino mediano de 280 litros....chulada de calentador, hace correctamente su función al calentar el agua y medir la temperatura, lo único medio malo es que solo puedo configurar la temperatura en grados Fahrenheit y no tiene opción para grados Celsius que aquí en MX es lo que tenemos, pero como tengo un termómetro alterno para medir la temperatura y este si trae ambos pues me facilita la conversión y confirmar la correcta temperatura, su tamaño es un poco grande validen el espacio a donde ponerlo y su color anaranjado hace que resalte, pero si tienen opción de colocarlo en un filtro externo fuera de la pecera seria ideal. Lo recomiendo, a mi me gusto y funciono bastante bien....calienta el agua muy rápido.

Excellent produit. Fonctionne parfaitement. Chauffe rapidement. Je l’utilise dans un aquarium 90 gallons et il maintient parfaitement la température. Affichage facile à lire. Facile à utiliser et à ajuster. Identique à la description et aux photos. Vraiment très satisfait!
