It’s made of what seems to be high carbon steel on the blade holder which gives it a feel of good sturdy material and also for durability; especially needing something durable and light for a precise sensitive shave. I can say that the sharpness of the razor caught me off guard the first time I used it (I have used it 4 times in past couple weeks as my beard grows quicker than my hair).I should note that there were replacement edge blades included, about 20 singles. The only experience I have with straight razors is at the Salon. The barber was the one that advised me to get one since my beard needs a clean up or a smooth line-up after a few days from the barbershop. I apply gel to the area I need shaved and carefully shave without pressing too deep in case there are skin bumps etc. As a beginner, it’s pretty easy for me but maybe because of my continuous experience at the barbershop. Make yourself comfortable using it and maneuvering the razor around certain areas, which for me is the sensitive facial areas. I haven’t planned on buying new blades as I am still reusing and sanitizing the first one which works pretty sharp to me. Hopefully other brands of blades work without a problem but I have yet to test it out!

This is a very nice straight razor and I love how it came with a very nice pouch for it. When looking for a new razor, I had to find one that I could keep safe away from my two kids. One of the best things about this razor is that it fits perfectly in my hands, and even when it gets wet I still have great control over it. Another amazing thing about the razor is that the blades that came with it, you can literally order hundreds more from Bolo for a very affordable price.The only downside that I had so far since using this razor is that it has been difficult at times to get the razor blade out when it is time to change the blade. Other than that one little hiccup, I feel that this razor is well worth the money that I paid for it. I would highly recommend this razor if you are in the market for a good one.

I got this straight razor as a gift for my husband, and he’s seriously impressed! It’s super sharp, removes beard hair cleanly, and gives a smooth, professional-level shave. The quality is great, and the leather pouch makes it feel like a premium set. He says it’s one of his favorite grooming tools now. Totally worth it!

Product came out to be very amazing and loved due to that it met high expectations and great. Although it did the leather case came damaged already. Button was broken off and I could not lock up the leather case that holds the straight razor. I would like to get a refund on this product to be honest but way to stressed with so many items coming in either damaged or not even close to meeting what is advertised. All I wanted was that I got this item perfect for the money that I paid for it!! But hey one day hopefully those issues get fixed before others invest in it and meet the same outcome I have.
