They just pop on to the mounting point and away it goes. I haven't had any issues with length and they seem to do a good job sweeping things towards the center so the vacuum can pick them up.

Does what it says. If you are having issues with it falling off, make sure you remove the metal clips from the original brushes. If you don't have the metal clips, these wont work for you.

These brushes would not stay attached to the vacuum. They came off every time.
