Works perfectly. Easy to use. Have not noticed any difference in stove fuel performance using containers filled with this. This little gadget lets me combine left over fuel from multiple partially filled small fuel canisters. This is great for backpacking because I always have small amounts of fuel left in canisters that isn’t enough for a full trip. This is very cost effective and environmentally friendly to reuse the small canisters. It also allows me to buy larger, more cost effective canisters and transfer gas to the smaller backpacking size containers as needed. It has already paid for itself. I put the receiving canister in the freezer for a bit as others suggested and was able to transfer fuel with no problem. Helps to have a digital kitchen scale to ensure you don’t overfill the receiving canister.

Nice little piece of gear. Saves a lot of money in the long run being able to refill my smaller cans for my camping stove. No leaks and no problems. Just make sure you have an accurate scale to weigh the receiving can of fuel so you don’t over fill it and risk the can blowing open.

The instructions are backwards - or I got a mislabeled unit?It worked fine when I attached the full canister to the “in” side and the empty canister to the “out” side. See photo of the included instructions. When I did this, it was just leaking fuel.Aside from the initial annoyance at the incorrect instructions, it seems to work well.

First off I don't think the instructions were correct as far as canister orientation goes. The canister you are trying to top off should be on the bottom, the donor on top. Instructions are backwards. I tried the valve both ways thinking maybe the printing on the valve was incorrect. Either way no gas flowed except out in the atmosphere. I went from 179 grams when I started to now 165 grams in my target can. Nice. Sent it back.

Awesome little device! Had 4 half full fuel cans and was able to make 2 full ones with this. I always worry about taking one of the half full ones and running out of fuel on our hiking trips. No worries now. Also the price is great. Would recommend

I tried it. It works as expected. Just do like I saw online. The bottle you want to Phil put it in the freezer for a little while so it’s cold. The bottle you want to empty leave in the sun for a short bit so he gets warm. Help helps to force the fluids into the one

Very convenient
Easy to use an works very well for combining half full butane canisters. I put the container to be filled in the freezer and the container to be emptied in the sun for about an hour and it works like a charm.
Worked after small repair.
Works, but had to take apart bypass valve due to leakage. It had piece of machining chip stuck in o ring.
Works but does not completely empty
Works as described and is a good idea for compiling partial fuel canisters. Just a note that it does not completely empty the canisters, so there will always be a little residual fuel in the “empty” canister.
