I see some people have really bashed this movie, but I must disagree. Sure, the CGI dinosaurs weren't up to Jurassic Park standards, but I was okay with that. At least they were uniquely different and therefore interesting, instead of same-old, same-old. Plus, the story wasn't really about the dinosaurs, it was about a man grieving for his dead daughter, trying to save a little girl who lost both her parents.Someone complained that they didn't have a language translator...that person either didn't watch the movie or wasn't paying attention, because the fact that the translator was broken was addressed early in the film. And the lack of a translator wasn't an issue anyway, since they managed to understand each other just fine without it.Overall, I enjoyed the premise that the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs was also what caused the spaceship to crash on Earth. I don't need to know where these humans came from to be able to enjoy the film. It's sci-fi; imagination and a willingness to suspend reality is required. Watching the relationship between the pilot and the girl develop from strangers to friends to sincerely caring enough to risk their lives to save each other, gave the story depth. Without it, it would have been just another monster movie. In the end, one can easily imagine that the pilot and his wife will adopt the girl as their own.And no, I didn't feel like the tar pit and the quicksand and the geysers were cliche', as one reviewer stated. I thought they showed the writer took the time to do a little research into what the world was like 65 million years ago and then incorporate it into the story to break up what would have otherwise been a monotonous journey of walking and avoiding dinosaurs. It added interest and provided opportunities for the characters to develop their relationship and express their humanity in a dangerous environment that isn't "out to get them," but will kill them if they don't work together and help each other.Overall, this movie isn't likely to win any awards, but it's an enjoyable film that I will add to my movie shelf for those times I want to watch something fun that doesn't require me to think too hard. Two thumbs up!

I thought this was a pretty good movie—nothing overly complex or complicated. Adam Driver is always interesting to watch and generally picks above average projects. If you're looking for a solid action, survival, sci-fi thriller with excellent performances by the two leads, Driver and Ariana Greenblaat (15 but passing as a 9 year-old) you will enjoy this film. The basic plot involves a spaceship crashing on an uncharted celestial body, which turns out to be Earth 65 million years ago. The nice twist is that the main characters aren't actually human, but are from a distant planet in the solar system. In addition Driver is a father with a terminally ill child at home, a factor that affects his ability to bond with Koa, the young girl accompanying him when the space craft crashes. The film doesn't waste time getting into the action and moving the plot forward. The CGI dinosaurs and special effects are good. Yes, at times there are some questionable moments, such as Koa appearing out of nowhere to rescue Driver from a dino by stabbing it in the eye. (How was she able to keep up with the chase and why go for the left eye—did she know the right eye was injured?) If you can avoid dwelling on such questionables and instead focus on Driver's excellent performance, you'll find there isn't a dull moment in the film. Mills (Driver) and Koa (Ariana) must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures and showers of asteroids in search of their last hope for escape.

While well made, the flick is just average lifted up by the acting of there 2 protagonists. There are several holes in the plot that would have helped understand the whole thing. And it always amazes me how spaceships in the future can take such a beating and still work while if my airbag goes off in my car, it is totaled. Cinematography is good, score is good, acting is good, dinos are well done. Fix the holes in the plot and you have a better movie. I am always reminded of Carl Sagan who posited that earth is so unique that humans as we know them would not have been created any where else, yet in this movie -- and many others -- life in "earthly" human form is abundant on at least one other planet.

65 was my most anticipated movie of the year and the minute it became available I bought it and watched it and wow what a movie in a era dominated by marvel garbage 65 is a breath of fresh air The acting by the two leads is phenomenal Adam driver and Ariana greenblatt really pull you in and both gave fantastic emotional performances The special effects were just as good as Jurassic world and the storyline was great too I'm so glad they went with the ancient astronaut theory instead of the overused time travel trope I honestly can’t believe the negative reviews for this movie 65 is easily better than any marvel movie and is way better than the Jurassic world movies The critics definitely got it wrong here as usualOverall 65 is a great sci-Fi movie with great acting special effects and a great inventive storyline This movie is really underratedAnyone who is sick of the usual marvel and Star Wars fare should definitely give 65 a watch you won’t regret itHighly recommended

Buena pelicula
Primeramente, el proceso de envio fue adecuado y llegó un día antes de los estipulado. En segundo lugar, en general considero que la película es disfrutable ya que maneja el suspenso de manera excelente e incorpora a los dinosaurios bastante bien.

Didn't like this movie. Reminded me of that movie Will Smith and his son made where they crashed on a planet and had to find a beacon while fighting a monster. This one had dinosaurs.
