I make generously portioned triple-shot espresso (slightly over 3oz) and was looking for a versatile insulated double-walled glass cup that had a clean modern style. These were a great deal at under $2.50 each! Though I would have preferred a slightly smaller 5oz cup, they function very well for triple-shot espresso with plenty of room for a large crema head and plenty of clearance left over to avoid spilling when drinking while moving around. The slight extra capacity makes them usable for other types of coffee or tea drinks as well if they are not more than 5.5oz (see Measurements).I have tested them in the microwave to boil water and they can be safely shocked with boiling water for preheating before pulling an espresso shot. Their glass is very slightly thicker than some of the other brands and so they don't feel as fragile. However I would still be concerned about sudden extreme temperature changes such as pouring boiling water into them after they had been frozen. So far no problems with trapped water between the walls, but I usually hand wash them because I use them so often each day and seldom end up cleaning them in the dishwasher.What I truly appreciate about these cups is that they have a nice sleek modern tapered style rather than the squatty bulbous shape that most other double-walled espresso cups have. Also the brim width is not excessive like other brands and this makes them pleasant to sip from. Best of all, a preheated cup will keep an espresso drink hot for a full 10 minutes.Note their height is greater than 2.75 inches which means they may not clear a standard espresso machine such as the Gaggia Classic using a double-spout portafilter. In the case of a standard Gaggia Classic, the cup will have to be initially tilted on its side in order to slide it under the spout. However their is ample room in the interior of the cup so that the spouts do not dip into the crema head when pulling a triple-shot espresso. And the there is ample room so that nothing is spilled when the cup is tilted again to remove it. There is no clearance problem if you upgraded to a Gaggia bottomless portafilter. In fact, the wide 3 inch cup diameter is perfect for use with a 58mm bottomless portafilter.Measurements:The product description and measurements are surprisingly accurate. I was busy writing a review for another product when these cups arrived. I was in need of a break so I opened their shipping parcel quite immediately.The cups are of a demure size, not really demitasse but a perfect size for my Turkish brew or strong herbal tea.The cups are double walled and they feel as though they are made of a special composition glass that helps to prevent breakage.I gave each a moderate thump with a flatware knife handle. They responded in much the same as those resilient, breakage resistive glass lids on most of my cookware collection.The image is not that great, It is intended to show....double wall, transparency, low distortion, crystal clear and very attractiveness.These cups are a got to have special purpose item. I am giving them an overall rating of five stars.Just looking at them has whetted my taste buds for a cup of strong breakfast tea with half a lump.One lump could cause an overflow. (:-)))))If you need'em, like'em get'em! In my opinion they represent a good value.

These little cups are so cute! Not as large as a normal mug, perfect size for expresso. They look exactly as pictured! But I did take a star off because one broke within the first month of us having the set. Careful handling these.

The media could not be loaded. UpNew Style DOUBLE WALL GLASS CUP 160 ml (set of 2) are beautiful. These handmade glass mugs are insulated and keep my beverages hot for a long time. Lightweight and easy to carry. Dimensions are 4.1” x 3.” BPA free and lead free. I recommend for latte, tea, cappuccino and coffee. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Highly recommend!

This is a review of UpNew Style DOUBLE WALL GLASS CUP 160 ml (set of 2)I really like the sharp design of these cups. I've owned similar double-walled cups as there but the shape of these is more appealing to me. The volume is a little larger too which lets my make my Lungos with a little room to spare. Very nice and will likely order a few more.

These are lovely little cups for expresso or cappuccino. They make relaxing with a little cup of java into a lovely experience. I have several of this style cup from years ago when they were made only by a German company that used plastic plugs in the bottom to seal the vacuum. These new cups are sealed with just a tiny dot of glass. They don't collect condensate, they go in the dishwasher or microwave, and fragile as they seem they last unless you knock them off the table. I love mine!
