By no means is it bulky. No sherpa or fake flannel adding unnecessary weight or bulk.I bought the throw size. One digital controller. Easy push button operation.

Living with someone who thinks 66 degrees is a reasonable room temperature to sleep in can be challenging. Before this blanket, thermostat wars, shivering, and passive-aggressive sighs filled my nights. It was like a battle of climates in the bedroom. Then, this faux fur miracle arrived! It's so soft and cozy. Now, I can cocoon in warmth while my husband (who must have polar bear DNA) enjoys arctic conditions. No more waking up feeling like an icicle or experiencing frostbite. This blanket is cheaper than divorce; it is highly recommended!

Used this for about 2 years and nearly everyday...I love the heat ok? Super soft and doesn't have that gross microfiber like side. Even though it no longer works it'd still very very warm itself.

This "full" size blanket is 80" wide, but it has only a 32" heated area. The rest, four feet (48"), is unheated.A "full" size mattress is 54" wide. That means this blanket will only heat 32" of that width. The other 22" of your bed's surface will be left unheated. That means that you must sleep alone, and you must lay directly in the center of your bed, preferably on your back, if you want to be warm.I understand not heating the outer one foot of a blanket because people like to tuck them into the mattress and wires would be dangerous if you did that. But two feet on each side???? Come on!The blanket is soft and Sealy makes a big deal out of its softness, but it is a cheap kind of polyester chenille that I remember being used on stuffed animals in the 60's.Our last blanket failed after a year. This time, I figured a high-end blanket from Sealy would be the way to go. Obviously I was wrong. I will now order the cheap blanket from China that offers heat throughout their entire blanket.

I love this blanket, it’s so soft and warm and comfortable it just has one flaw. Too much tangle cord mess. And yes to be expected in a heated blanket but it’s just everywhere, if you don’t purposely tuck it away near the outlet it will get tangled in everything.

This blanket has two heating zones that plug in at the end of the bed on each side. I was able to run the wires along the bed, plug it in behind headboard, and place each control unit on the night stands on each side.The control unit functions with two modes. One mode adjusts the heat intensity and the other is a timer. The heat intensity goes 1 low through 10 high. The automatic timer adjustment starts at a half hour and ends at 12 hours. It automatically shuts off the blanket.The blanket runs at120 volts100 watts60 HzThe blanket feels of good quality with thin wires and a very soft plush feel. Overall, I think it's a pretty good value given the price point.I can't speak to durability as I've just received the blanket, however, if I have any concerns I will update my review.I highly recommend this blanket!!

Originally purchased since I was having a furnace problem and it was taking a while to get the part in. The nights were cool, but not miserable cold. I think now that even when the furnace is fixed, we will still use this heated blanket to snuggle up in to go to sleep. I like the room being on the cool side when I sleep, but with this blanket I stay warm enough to sleep well, and the dogs like it too. I'm very cautious about not leaving it on, but with the timer, we've had no problems or concerns. The plug does not get hot, and the blanket stays warm. I will admit that it says not to use it anywhere the wires can get crimped, like a recliner or chair. But in hindsight, that just makes sense. This is the softest blanket I've seen in a long time.
