Basically professional-grade, they don't look or feel cheap at all. Well, the plastic comb guards aren't QUITE on the same level as brand-name Wahl ones. But the actual clippers and their blades are top-notch and perform great.The most incredible thing about these is the battery life. I've had these things for over 3 months now, use them every weekend, and still haven't gone below 50% battery life on either one yet! I actually had to plug them in and charge them for the first time before writing this review, just to make sure there wouldn't be any surprise problems with the charging. Otherwise, I probably would have gone a few more months on the original charge from the factory.Personally, I like that these units charge with USB cables. However, there are two caveats that you should know about. First, this set only comes with the cables, not a charger. Sadly, that's pretty much standard for all USB stuff these days. Secondly, while it's USB on the end that plugs into the charger, the cable has a proprietary connector on the end that plugs into the clippers. So, you can't use your own normal USB cables, as you can with other clippers that use USB on both ends. However, the set does come with two cables, even though both the clipper and trimmer use the exact same plug, so you're basically getting a backup cable.The most important warning I can give is that THE PLASTIC COMB GUARDS FOR THESE CLIPPERS ARE NON-STANDARD, compared to every other pair of clippers I've ever seen before. Normally, the comb numbers represent eights of an inch (e.g. a #1 comb is 1/8 in, a #8 comb is a one full inch, etc). However, these combs are offset by two sizes. That is, if you're accustomed to using a #2 comb, then you use a #4 comb here. A standard #3 comb is actually a #5 comb with this set, etc. I wasn't paying close attention, and my first cut was WAY shorter than I was expecting! That was frustrating, but now I know.Despite being a little flimsy feeling, and having the weird size offsets, the combs that come with this set are perfectly usable as-is. However, a cool thing is that these clippers fit brand-name Wahl combs guards just fine. So, I salvaged the combs from my old worn-out Wahl clippers and are just using them instead now.Overall, there are a couple of quirks to keep in mind, but this is still an outstanding clippers and trimmer set. You get both units for around the same price that Wahl charges for clippers alone. And while the comb guards aren't quite as good as Wahl's, the actual units themselves feel like much higher quality than what Wahl sells in this range. Recommended.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Thess are great clippers. No more Wahl for me. Smooth cuts, great battery power, quiet and easy to coean. Plus they look great.

Works great! The full size clippers are hefty enough to feel premium, while still light enough to maneuver. Do wish the smaller one was metal too but as a travel item it's absolutely perfect!I use the big clippers to trim my beard + the small ones are perfect for doing touch up work. Both are very powerful and feel great in the hand + using. There's many different blade guards for each included, and the big ones are labeled in both inches and mm. The big clippers also contain a plastic cover guard for storage. The box has two usb charger cables (no blocks but you have some laying around), a cape for cutting hair, and a bag for everything. I went with the black set and they're very sleek and modern.Can't yet say about sharpness in the long term but out of the box the blades are super sharp! Nice, clean cuts with no snags. Overall, highly recommend!

I had my doubts about how good these clippers were going to be. Well I was very surprised how sharp the clippers cut and if they came with a good selection of guards for both clippers. Well they came with plenty of guards for both clippers and the guards fit well and didn’t fall off the trimmer heads. The small beard trimmer cuts very well and is sharp. Great for mustache and beards and trimming around ears etc. People complaining about slippery chrome coating are way off base as they are fine unless maybe your hands are covered in oil or soap or something? Both clippers fit hands like they should. Battery life should be able to do 4 or 5 haircuts easily. Really like these clippers only thing I didn’t like is there was no box or case to keep the whole kit in ie: guards clippers oil bottles etc. Other then that these are a bargain and I recommend them to anyone who

Awesome hair clippers! Battery life is amazing, cordless, quiet and so easy to use. Multiple guides for both the small and large clippers. Large clippers have adjustment lever.My son has THICK curly hair and it cut through it like warm butter. Other clippers would hardly make it through his hair and most times made him look like someone weed wacked his head. The little trimmers are great for beard upkeep and to clean up edges of haircut.Would buy these again!

Not professional quality but they're pretty decent. A real good kit for the price. The quality difference from professional equipment isnt noticeable unless you're real observant. Overall can't go wrong with the price point.

They have so many accessories. Quality and overall appearance is classy. Both the hair and beard trimmer along with all other accessories come at a reasonable price. Totally worth it.

I bought this kit about 9 months ago and it has been the best one I've ever had. The price-quality relation is crazy. I additionally bought a random separate set of longer guide combs and wasn't sure if they'd work with this clipper, but they did. I am not a professional barber by any means, but I really enjoy cutting my own hair and I couldn't be happier than I am with this. Both my hair and my beard have looked so well-groomed ever since.A few days ago I had a malfunction problem with the trimmer which caused it to no longer turn on. I had little hopes that it would get repaired or replaced because of my general experiences with many other companies — but they totally came through and were super nice about it. Really good clippers, they use about 10% battery per cut for a simple crew cut. The added beard trimmer works great too. Well worth it and highly recommended.
