I clean the grill on a regular basis and move the flavor bars around each time I clean the grill to give them relatively equal exposures to burner flame impingement. By spring of 2022 the original flavor bars had multiple perforations caused by corrosion. At the time, Original Weber replacement flavor bars were available for $51.30. The X-home brand replacement alternative available through Bolo was priced at $29.99.I purchased the X-home brand in July, 2022. When installed I noticed that they were made from heavy gauge steel and were well constructed. Today (4/14/2025) I was evaluating the burner for possible replacement (it is the original burner) and as part of my assessment I carefully examined the flavor bars that are now almost three years old. While the bars show some signs of corrosion and surface pitting, they are still entirely serviceable. I would estimate that I will easily get another two years out of them before they will need to be replaced.I am very satisfied customer.
