This thickener works great. It does not have a taste to it and it does not thicken over time.

I had to use this for my son for a while. This one was recommended to my by the speech therapist. Well the description says it will not thicken over time but it does. I tried making up a pitcher full and before long it was like hair gel. Very thick. I ended up dumping it down the sink. From then on I only made one drink at a time. On the plus side it doesn’t have any taste and it does mix up clear. I guess I’m just lucky that there is a product out there that can help with Dysphasia. This is the only product that I tried so I can’t speak to others.

It works okay for a thickener, however; when I use it in my pureed soup to thicken, I have to wisk it when mising up and also when getting ready to eat because of clumps in it that didn't want to disolve all the way for some reason.
