Patented in 1934 by illy, pressurization is a preservation system in which the air in the tin is replaced by an inert gas at a pressure greater than that of the atmosphere. In this way, not only is the freshness of our coffee maintained, but its aroma is also enhanced.

These compatible capsules work perfectly with my Nespresso OriginalLine machine—no issues with fit or function. The flavor is rich, smooth, and bold without being bitter. It has that signature Illy aroma that instantly makes my kitchen feel like a café.Whether I’m making a quick morning shot or a longer lungo, the crema is always velvety, and the intensity is just right. You can tell they use high-quality beans. It’s a little more expensive than some other brands, but the consistency and taste are worth it.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a premium espresso experience at home.

I enjoy this coffee very much. It's decaf but I still find it has a fairly good body and taste smooth. I sometimes drink it at night to help me fall asleep and it does but that's just me.It could be packed better sometimes different coffees will arrive crumpled the packaging that is, and sometimes that will affect the inside. The pot itself could be a little bit dented so something to be aware of. But that doesn't affect the taste of the coffee.

Capsules were fresh and they there no signs of leakage when used with my delonghi nespresso machine. Kind of pricey compared to other pods and on par with the ones from Nespresso.

UPDATE JUN 11 2024I figured I'd give these one more try but I don't know why I bothered. The condition of my most recent order was even worse and while I love this coffee, I'm not ordering these through Bolo again. The box was torn open this time and crushed, and again I had crushed and unusable pods. The only way to get a refund is by making a request through Customer Service.It's not worth the effort, wasted money, and wasted time. These pods are so good that I kept giving the benefit of the doubt, but save yourself the hassle and wasted money and just buy them elsewhere if you can. I've only ever received two orders thst weren't damaged, don't make the mistake I made and keep trying. I'm over it lol.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I generally try not to review an item based on the shipment packaging or condition of the package when it arrives. I understand that with Bolo it's not really the vendor's fault. However, when it's such a consistent issue with a product that relies on keeping it's structure to work properly, I think it's important for other customers to be prepared.I order these somewhat regularly and lately I will consistently get at least two crushed pods per order. I'm not sure if this is an issue with how they're picked or how they're handled during delivery, but at this point it's become frustrating. These need to hold their shape to work in a nespresso machine, and they're nearly useless when they're crushed like this. Returning them would be a hassle when you order these specifically to arrive when you're about to run out. I know it's a small inconvenience, but I think the least I can expect is for my pods to arrive intact.I have to say that I really love the quality and convenience of the pods themselves. The coffee is amazing and for many reasons I don't buy coffee at chain coffee shops anymore, so these have been great. I almost exclusively use illy's pods now, and I've tried many other brands and roasts/ flavors. People in the office loved these pods and they didn't last long when we had them in stock. If you have them available to you anywhere else, I recommend buying them from some other source unless you're prepared to play crush roulette with Bolo.

I like the fact that they're aluminum just like the originals, it worked flawlessly in my machine.The coffee is not as strong as I like but that is my preference and does not reflect on the quality of the product. It made a great mid day coffee for me.Feel comfortable purchasing this product, there were no quality issues that I experienced.

As I’ve gotten older, my body cannot tolerate as much caffeine. I have my normal espressos in the AM, but have switched to these decaf nespresso pods for the afternoon. While not as good as espresso on a fancier machine, these do provide for a strong, yet smooth cup of coffee, with no bitterness.
