I threw away my other "stick" deodorant. I've tried the pricier and more well known cream all-body deodorant and this worked far better. Zero odor all day in all the places you want to stay fresh. I'm sold on it. A little goes a long way, too. Just a small drop for each underarm. I stopped using anti-perspirant/deodorant combinations because anti-perspirant doesn't let your skin breathe naturally. Also heard that applying anti-perspirant and the chemicals involved in them to shaved underarms may be linked to breast cancer. Not sure if true, but made enough sense to me to stick to a deodorant only. That said, I haven't noticed any excessive sweating with this either.

***First of all, this is NOT an antiperspirant! You are still going to sweat with Hello Whole Body Deodorant. Second, I have read the bad reviews, i.e., it doesn't work, I still stink, the scent smells atrocious, etc. Okay people, you have years/decades' worth of bacteria in your armpits and other places you sweat. I thought well this is going to work better if you use some kind of antibacterial or something like that. I ran a search in Bolo and came up with Clyecfra Underarm Detox Scrub with peppermint and witch hazel. I use this scrub in the shower on my underarms, under boob, underbelly, etc. It is not too coarse. I then follow with the Hello Whole Body Deodorant after my shower. This was a gamechanger. It's in the 100s here in New Mexico and I sweat just walking across an airconditioned room. I plan on using the scrub and Hello deodorant from now on. Also, people complain about the scent. Well, if you get Sweet Coconut or Lavendar Vanilla, you probably are not going to like the scent. I stick with the Fresh scent and it doesn't cause any funky smells.***I thought I'd jump on the whole-body deodorant band wagon. I looked at dozens of brands and many reviews that went with them. For the price and reviews, this one seemed the best (I couldn't see spending $30 for a small tube). I bought the Fresh scent because I have severe allergies and can't stand anything with fragrance. I've tried it a few times and am impressed with the way it keeps you from smelling too bad. I don't go to the gym so I can't speak as to how it works if you're all sweated up but would imagine at the very least it helps some.

I gotta tell you, I am loving this deodorant. I’ve wanted to switch to an aluminum free deodorant for a while, but most reviews are not good on other brands. I workout hard 5 days a week, and I live in the South, so summers are hot and sweaty. You have to get used to putting a cream on you underarms with your fingers, but not a big deal. On really hot days, I sometimes reapply mid day but I don’t mind. No body odor, and much healthier for my body. And if you tend to sweat between the boobs or on inner thighs, apply it there too. Very gentle, but works. I ordered the fresh scent in blue. Nice scent, and not overpowering.

UPDATE: I cannot get 72 hours use. I can barely get 24 hours. I did an experiment applying this to one armpit and my previously used salt deodorant (liquid form) on the other armpit. The salt deodorant lasted much longer. The following days I experimented more reapplying through the day. I tried this for two more days. With as many as four to five applications in 24 hours it does work. Perhaps by using more product this will work for you. I personally find that one application of a dependant is much more convenient, but also more cost effective. Changing five star review to a three star review.Works as advertised with exception to the 72 hours. For me it doesn't last that long, but it DOES last a very reasonably long time between showers. The scent is NOT strong so if you are sensitive to strong or artificial scents this should be good for you. The lotion style deodorant is clean and easy to apply without a mess like sone dispensers. It is not drying my skin nor does it feel greasy like some others. I'll be ordering more!

I bought this thinking it would be an affordable substitute for other "72 hour" deodorants. I was wrong, this doesn't even last the day. Does it decrease the stink in a day? probably? I'm not sure. But within a work day (less than 8 hours for those of you keeping track) I could smell myself. And I work a desk job, I'm not doing anything physically demanding. And, initially, I felt a little harsh with a 1 star review, but then i considered this works for less than 10% of the advertised time, and 1 star out of 5 is 20%. This is *much* more expensive than any deodorant I've ever owned and is by far the least effective. Also, and this is literally a foot note, the bottle arrived with black finger smudges on it and there are ZERO "safety" seals in place to comfort me that this was a new product. That's a yuck from me.Pros:not sticky or greasy, dries fastdid not irritate my skinCons:does NOT last a full day -- not even a work day. 72 hours is beyond reproach for advertising.not an anti-perspirant (this doesn't bother me, but it is something to consider)no safety sealsexpensive for what it isSummary: Lume works AT LEAST 6 times longer, and is only double the price for the same amount. That's easy math, friends.

I have tried several different kinds of deodorants that do not contain aluminum and most of them do not really seem to do much of anything other than put fragrance under my arms. HELLO is fabulous! I shower every other day and I NEVER have an odor problem. I also do not seem to find my armpits wet, like what happens with some other products. Plus - the price is literally half of what the competition cost. Need I say more! I love this!
