She likes it a little wet so I put a little water,let it sit for 3 minutes and she loves it. She's Really picky so I'm very happy. She is almost 15 and actually seemed to be happy and running around after starting her new food!! 🙏Hope it continues.😚

My 10 year old heeler and 5 year old med size dogs love this new food ! They had lost their energy and coats were unhealthy looking. After a few weeks of their new favorite food, they love running around the property. Thank you for healthy dog foods!

From my perspective, this is extremely expensive and smells very bad. From my dogs’ perspective, it is scrumptious! I can’t afford to use it is kibble but I use a handful as daily treat. Hope they get the health benefits but I KNOW they love the taste.

My 15-year-old male terrier mix likes the Dr. Marty Nature's Blend for Active Vitality Seniors Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food. He will eat anything. However, my 9-year-old female Chiweenie refuses to eat it. But, because it smells fishy, some of my cats will eat it. I did some "Googling" on the subject of raw (what I would call fresh) and freeze-dried foods. Here's what I learned: Foods that are freeze-dried retain the same color of that food as when it was fresh. Therefore, the pellets of Dr. Marty's should be full of colorful specks of the foods that are in the mix. Furthermore, any food that has been peeled, sliced, diced, chopped or ground is considered "processed!" Because the dog food is in a pellet form and is a uniform color (not showing any of the colors of the ingredients), it cannot be called freeze dried or raw. This food is PROCESSED! I prefer to feed my dogs homemade, fresh cooked food that is 75% meat, 15% pearl barley and 10% vegetables. However, Dr. Marty's dog food would be a good choice for earthquake emergency supplies.

This food is amazing, the results from feeding my 15 year old dog and a 7 year old, very sick cat, are undeniable as the health benefits are miraculous. I no longer buy from Dr Marty, since they let my animals run out of food over a delivery issue. It was very hard on my dog and she ended up at the vet as a result of that failure. Both, the carrier, and Dr Marty failed miserably, and despite my exact location being clearly listed on line 2 of my address, and is the most clearly marked address on the marquee at the front of the park, they could, or would, not help fix the delivery issues.. While Dr Marty was happy to endlessly reship the order, or offer a refund, they have no ability to contact the carrier to clear up any issues. My address is out of sequence so it does cause some delivery issues, but it’s a very easy fix if they, or myself is able to contact the carrier to help them. Dr Marty would not answer my emails and would not contact the carrier. Their product is already very expensive buying straight from them, and is 1 1/2 to 2 times more expensive buying from local pet stores. I found another product that’s the same ingredients here on Bolo, and is the price range as I was paying at Dr Marty. It’s sad on one hand, that they let this happen, as I never would looked for a different product, but good on the other hand, as I found a better one that’s the same ingredients here on Bolo. There’s only so many degrees in a circle, and that’s what my babies are eating now, with no delivery issues. Every adversity carries a seed of greater or equal benefit!

Great food for my dog. He has bad skin and within a week he has quit scratching and his skin is already healing. Highly recommend. He loves it too!!!
