It was also hard to find the beginning of the tape on the roll. When we bought Heavy Duty Crystal Super Clear Packing Tape 4 Rolls with Dispenser, 2.3 mil, 1.88 inch x 55, wow. It practically glides onto the box by itself, is easy to restart and rarely messes up. Not crazy about the little dispenser that came with the tape so we still use the tape gun. Great tape that we will buy again. Sometimes when you have a big job to do, making the job easier is worth a few extra dollars.

    Not sure why some had issues with the dispenser (all metal), worked better for me than the 3M style one. The tape is serviceable but you get what you pay for.

    I thought this would be a thicker tape. It sticks well to boxes. When i saw heavy duty i imagined some kind of nykon thread running through the tape. But it is stickier than some of the cheaper brands. The dispenser is solid metal. Kudos for the dispenser it works great.
