Anyone who deals with winter road salt goes through a set of brakes every 2 years regardless. In my experience, the rotors rot and crumble to bits long before they actually wear out. My last brake job 2 years ago was on all 4 corners and cost me about $1000.00 even doing it myself, for coated rotors all around. Those rotors look disgusting now.I found the A-Premium rotors on Bolo for CDN$132.00 for the set of drilled and slotted front rotors. They also appear to be coated which is a huge bonus in this price bracket. After about 1000km, they seem fine, even excellent. I was a little gentle bedding them in but now I drive normally and they feel amazing. Lots of stopping power with no fade. I think the drilling and slotting is a huge advantage. I used a set of Raybestos pads I had kicking around with new hardware.I highly recommend these rotors. They seem like a fantastic value. I hope they're around in a couple of years when I have to do another brake job! I also hope they last. It's too soon to rate their longevity but out of the box they seem amazing. I'm very impressed and pleased.2015 Nissan Rogue SL AWD159,000km20,000km average annual mileageUPDATE: Almost 5 months since installation and 13,000km and the brakes are awesome. My partner comments every time she drives my car how great the brakes are. I think it’s all because of these rotors. They’re 10 times better than stock. Highly recommended.
