Closys is sulfate based compound free and therefore is non-irritating. My gums were red and irritated after using Sensodyne for extended periods of time. A tube of Closys is 7 oz. vs. 3.4 oz for Sensodyne; you get twice as much product per tube of Closys vs. Sensodyne. Closys rebuilds enamel and protects against cavities using fluoride same as Sensodyne. Sensodyne protects against sensitivity however, I didn't have any issues with tooth sensitivity so this benefit wasn't important to me.UPDATENote - when I took the Closys tube of toothpaste with me on a recent plane trip, TSA CONFISCATED MY CLOSYS TOOTHPASTE! TSA said it can't be over 3.4 oz. So don't make the same mistake I did and put it in your carry-on bag. Rather stow it with your checked luggage if you have it otherwise don't take it in your carry-on since you risk losing it to the wonderful TSA.

My dentist turned me on to this toothpaste 2 decades ago, when I was having increasingly serious gum issues. This toothpaste solved the problem, and my gums have been great since then. The toothpaste eliminated gum inflammation and gum bacterial infections for me. Recommend.

The only toothpaste I use. It was recommended years ago by my dental hygienist after I had a deep cleaning. My teeth and gums have been in good condition ever since. I have probably used this toothpaste for 10+ years. The only place I have ever found it locally is Walgreens, but often they don't have it in stock. Great to be able to get it from Bolo when I need more.

Feel like my teeth are nice and clean after using but I do follow it up with CloSys ultra sensitive mouth wash...the toothpaste has a tendency to dry out on the toothbrush if left out for any time and gets hard and breaks into clumps...also, the mint stings my tongue a little bit - wish that was not so...still prefer it over other name brand toothpastes for sensitive teeth

Bought after high praise from my periodontist/ hygienist. Trust them as they do not sell this nor stand to gain from endorsement. Expensive per tube but it lasts a very long time. In long run, therefore, not too expensive.

This is the best toothpaste I've ever used!I fell into the Flouride Free toothpaste trend and had settled on a good product in that space, but I was having intermittent problems with morning mouth health.I found this floridated toothpaste after a recommendation from a dentist on YouTube. I have been blown away by it.It solved my morning breath and occasional biofilm issue from when my nightly brushing had been Flouride free. Unlike experiences I've had in the past with Crest and Colgate, this has been gentle on my inner cheeks. It is perfectly flavored, with a very mild mint flavor.It's also very economical!I can't recommend it enough!Note: Although I love the toothpaste, I'd recommend against pairing it with the same brand's mouth wash. I had switched away from my ayurvedic mouthwash to try the combination of CloSys toothpaste and mouthwash. I actually had worse results with this combo. It was only when I combined this toothpaste with the previous mouthwash that I saw the big difference in switching from my Flouride Free toothpaste to this wonderful fluoridated toothpaste!Lesson learned, the combination of products matters and even if a brand makes a great product, it doesn't mean every product they make is great!
