The top of it is smooth and the bottom that you feel is like newly sheared lamb fir. Very soft, warm and even looks like it but not wool. The blanket is very warm without the power on and soft. Another thing that my old blanket didn’t do is the light on the controller turns off after a few seconds, my old one stayed on until I turned it off, I hate lights in my bedroom! It warms up fast and can be programmed to turn off at a set amount of time. Controls are easy to use even in the dark. The only thing negative is the side overhang is to short. This seems to be made for older matrices that were thinner than today’s memory foam thick ones. My matrice is 11” thick and so is the blanket over hang so it can’t be tucked in, it’s plenty long though so the end can be, so if you like a tightly tucked bed and have a thick mattress you won’t want this one. The heating elements fit my queen mattress perfectly and I can’t feel the wires at all. Overall I like it a lot and recommend it for most people.

I was a bit unsure if a throw size blanket would work, but, as a 6'2" guy I am very happy with the size. Easily covers the lower 1/2 and up past the waist. Both sides are very soft. The heating element easy to operate, well laid out. Only takes a few minutes to feel the heat.I had to push the prongs out a bit to fit securely in my extension cord, otherwise it would pop off easily. A very minor fix.

Wow! This blanket is fluffy, soft but yet lightweight. I have been searching for the perfect heated blanket and finally found it. Buy it! You will not regret it. Best sleep ever under this cloud of a blanket that still heats up warm and evenly. I also love that this blanket has heat throughout the entire blanket. Others have an empty spot in the middle of the bed where it’s cold. Not this one! We have a cal king and the attachments are towards the corner of the bed, but it has had zero impact. Highly recommended!

I ordered this heating blanket to stay warm while working from home, and overall, I really like it! The blanket is super soft and plush, and the green color I chose is absolutely beautiful. It adds a nice touch to my space.That said, I’m deducting one star because my first blanket had a defect — only half of it heated up, likely due to a broken wire inside. Based on other reviews, it seems this isn’t an uncommon issue. However, I decided to give it another shot and ordered a replacement, which works perfectly!The blanket takes about 15 minutes to heat up, but once it does, it’s wonderfully warm and cozy. It’s far superior to the one my boyfriend uses (a different brand), which takes forever to get warm. I’m considering ordering another one in brown for my bedroom.If you’re okay with the possibility of needing an exchange, I think this blanket is a great choice. It's warm, soft, and definitely worth it in my opinion.

Bought this blanket because husband was always cold at night and even wore a hooded jacket!!! I was hot!!! So this blanket is wonderful!! Gone is the hoodie and he puts his side on to keep him warm. He adjusts the heat as needed. It turns itself off when programmed for the appropriate time. I love it because it is so very soft and cuddly and light in weight. I am sure I will use my heated side in the winter but right now I just like it with no heat. It fits our queen size bed very well and does not slip or slide on the bed!!! Easy to program from the start. Do wish the console stayed lit when turned on. Very happy with this blanket and beige color so much that I bought him a matching throw with foot pouches for him to use on his favorite family room chair. Hopefully, no more complaints about cold drafts!! I might get one for myself as well for the winter. Have not washed it yet so I am hoping it stays as nice as it is now. Highly recommend.11/18/24 update. Just ordered a King size as husband said he needed more blanket on sides of our Queen size bed. Still loving this Queen size Sealy blanket but King will give more coverage for those who turn over more during sleep.

Don't mind spending extra for 'quality' but we'll see how long it will last. All the other least expensive ones are a crapshoot.

I spent all the time and effort of unpacking & setting up & manoeuvring around furniture only to discover this blanket was defective. I tried multiple wall sockets, followed all instructions and it didn't heat up at all. NOTHING. So then I get to take it all apart and try to put it all back in the stupid box and deal with a stupid return process (Intelcom doesn't give you a time or even a window of when they will pick up the return item, just a date, it's very inconvenient). Very frustrated and unhappy customer. Ps: bought a Sunbeam blanket, works perfectly! (This 'full size' which was pretty much a 'throw' blanket was 110$. My Sunbeam was 100$ for a KING size so in the end I win! lol)
