Very painfully tight/itchy/flaky. Added to that is the fact that I have eczema. "Dry" and "sensitive" are putting it mildly. With that said, I don't expect much from a cleanser. I expect to get that tight/dryness, no matter how "moisturizing" it says it it. I expect my moisturizer to do all the hard work.In walks Albolene.*music begins to play like a Lifetime movie*And suddenly, I learned that life can feel very different. I learned that my skin can actually feel...amazing...before...lotion.I don't know what kind of magic fairies Albolene has stashed away, but between the Daily Cleanser and the Cleansing Balm, I am convinced these people know some sort of ancient dry skin sorcery.My preferred routine is to start with the Albolene balm. Rub that in for 1-2 min. Wipe that/makeup off with a wet cloth. Then I follow it up with the Albolene Daily Cleanser. This leaves my face feeling clean, moisturized, and soft. I've had no breakouts or irritation. Just happy skin. I follow this up with my normal moisturizer, and I am good for the day.Please don't ever stop making this. I will NEVER switch cleansers as long as this is available. Doing my best to resist buying like 30 bottles now, so please....don't leave me, Albolene.NOTE FOR FOLKS READING THIS: This is not a bubbly, watery face wash. And that's actually what's good about it because those are usually what's helping to dry us out. It's more of a creamy texture. If you need to imagine it, think of something like a thin cold cream. No scent to it. No tingle (for me). Very soothing, but still great at cleansing the skin. I had to go under my house recently, which was muddy/flooded...and it cleaned THAT off my face. Freaking amazing stuff. Once you can get over the bubble=clean concept, you can learn how your skin should feel lol. You've tried worse. Trust...speaking from dry skin experience.

Fantastic way to start my morning, best way to remove my make-up at the end of the day.😁The first cleanser I have found that doesn't leave my face feeling rough, scratchy, and stripped of all natural moisture.I just apply it to a dry face, work it all around with a disposable round sponge, then wipe it off with a cotton pad wet with Rose 🌹Micellar water.My face feels radiant, soft, and freshly cleaned. No mess, no fuss, just a perfect canvas for my daily routine.I'll never use ordinary soap ever again!5 🌟 product that's a perfect part of your daily personal spa treatment.☺️

I usually only use an oil or balm as the first step to remove waterproof sunscreen or makeup. However, my usual oil cleanser skyrocketed in price and this went on sale, so I decided to try it. I apply a quarter size amount on my dry face and rub it in until everything starts breaking down, then add water and continue to wash my face. I rinse using a wash cloth to make sure everything is removed then proceed with my second cleanser. This has no scent, doesn't sting my face, doesn't make my eyes blurry like a cleansing oil or balm and rinses clean without leaving my face feeling stripped and dry. I also like to use it in the mornings as a creamy, non-foaming, lightweight, moisturizing face wash. The price is good even when it's not on sale and you get a large bottle that will last quite some time. I would highly recommend and this will be my go to from now on!

This is a great cleanser for dry skin, but I believe it would be great for any skin type. I have mature oily skin, but the skin around my eyes is very dry. This cleanser works extremely well on gently cleansing my mature oily skin, completely removing facial makeup and sunscreen without stripping the skin barrier, but it also leaves my skin very soft/hydrated, even the dry skin area around my eyes. It’s NOT oily at all, and leaves no residue whatsoever. I have even used it as a moisturizing hand and body wash. It contains no fragrance, and it has a luxe lotion texture. It’s non-irritating. It beats all the high-end cleansers I’ve used!My only complaint is that it doesn’t remove waterproof eye makeup as advertised. It softens it up a little bit, but then I still need to use a separate eye makeup remover to remove it and then do a double cleanse with CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser (which is also a superb cleanser for any skin type and is NOT oily at all, despite the title). I will continue to buy this Albolene cleanser, though, since its superior non-drying cleansing of my skin outweighs the extra waterproof eye makeup removing step.

This product is not as good as reviews.Doe not remove makeup unless you do it 3 times. It moisturize nice. Does not clean all makeup off. Would be a good value if was effective in removing makeup. Would not recommend this product.

Very nice facial cleanser. I have very dry skin and this cleanser works well on my face, not drying it out any more.

This is hands down the best gentle cream cleanser I’ve tried. It has now replaced my Avene Tolerance cleanser, which is about 3x the price for less product. These 2 cleansers have been the only ones I can use in the cold, dry winter months, especially since I use a strong retinoid on my skin (tretinoin). My skin is dry/sensitive but I’m guessing that any skin type could use this.How to use: smooth a generous amount on dry skin then wet your hands and work it into your skin. Remove with a very soft wet or damp cloth. You can cleanse once or twice. It gets off makeup and waterproof sunscreen and leaves your face baby soft and not stripped or tight. I follow with a moisturizing toner, serum and lotion. Super easy. It’s like using a cold cream, only better.
