It's sturdy. I feel safe climbing on it to reach the upper shelves in my kitchen. The folding aspect is a bit time consuming and cumbersome, but if you don't need to fold it every time, it's a perfect item to have handy around the kitchen. The typical, conveniently easy-to-fold plastic ones that you buy at local stores do not feel as strong and as safe as this one. It's a keeper.

I'm short, but own--and love--my tall Jeep Liberty Sport. Occasionally, I had trouble getting in. I bought this stool, attached rope to two legs and now I can get in the car yet easily pull the stool up after me. I also love how the legs fold flat for when I put it on the floor next to the driver's seat or in the back seat. It was the perfect solution to my problem without the expense of having a running board attached to my car.
