After the 3rd use I can notice the change. The best way to use this, lather and put on your skin, face, neck, hands, ect... let it stay on for 2-5 minutes than gently remove with water leaving a light residue of the product on the skin. Now in my opinion this is the important part. With a light layer of the product left of the face, using your fingers rub up/down & circular motion on your skin like your rolling off dead skin. This is the top layer of the dead cells that causes wrinkles, sunspots, dark spots, dryness. Again, when I initially rinse the product, I leave a light layer of product on my skin to make it easier to rub & exfoliate the top dead cells on my face, neck, hands( I also used it on my elbows, knees & armpits, 4 bars for $20 is a great deal & I'm willing to buy more since I had awesome results). What I learned about skincare as I get older especially on my face. It's constantly being exposed to environmental elements, sun damage, make-up, my pillow, hard water. By exfoliating my face once a week with a good moisturizer( I used Lancome Absolue Rich or Soft Cream $280 or coconut oil. Dont use a moisturizer with alcohol or Parfums cause it will irritate your skin). It's important to moisturize afterwards cause this product just removed dead cell skin & moisturizer is key! At 45 my skin looks amazing but I had these light sunspots and dry dead skin that causes aging. Not super noticeable but noticeable to me on my cheek bone area and around my eyes. I not only focus on my face but my entire body especially the neck and hands cause those are the areas women tend to neglect and are aging giveaways with sunspots, wrinkles. Also I'd recommend doing this at night before bed to allow your skin to heal vs. going out in the elements wind, sun, humidity and exposing your newly clean sensitive skin to damage causing activities. Again my opinion simply because this bar soap removed the top layer of skin leaving the underlaying of skin, the soft, sumple, fresh layer of skin that gives you the glow & youthfulness we all want.Also I know this is weird but don't do it around your menstrual period time. Why? As a women our hormones are crazy and I know I break out around my chin area. You definitely don't want to irritate your skin while your hormones aka acne period are the cause for a short time of the month. This can cause bacteria around your pimples, break & scratch the skin, leaving scars or marks. Again my own opinion but it works for me cause my hormones cause me to have acne plus I have Lupus and I get butterfly like rash on my face over my nose bridge & cheeksHope my review helps but definitely a good buy!

I was a little skeptical trying this at first because I’ve used other kojic acid soaps before and didn’t really see much change. But this one actually surprised me. I’ve been using it consistently for about a month now, and I’ve noticed a visible lightening of some dark spots on my knees and elbows, and even some old acne marks on my shoulders are starting to fade. It lathers really well and leaves my skin feeling clean without that tight, dry feeling. The scent is mild and not too perfumey, which I appreciate.I will say it can be a bit drying if you don’t follow up with lotion, especially if you’re using it daily, so I’d recommend moisturizing right after. But overall, it’s been a great addition to my routine, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

My product was delivered to me on June 1st, and I've been using it since it arrived, every time I shower. I only use it on my face, although the product does say you can use it on the rest of your body. I bought this to help with the hyperpigmentation around my mouth. In the 25 days I've been using it, it has helped. The dark areas around my mouth have lightened, and if you're like me and want to use it for facial hyperpigmentation, also wear sunscreen when you go out, because the sun can darken your hyperpigmentation. The product has also helped with the redness I have on my face, on my cheeks. I didn't buy it for that, but that's just an added benefit. It has also made my skin softer. Around the time I'm writing this (June 26), my face slightly burns when I use the soap; it didn't at first, but it has started to. I am assuming it's from the daily use, so I will be using it every other day. Other than that I recommend it, the soap works and the package came intact and with both soaps.

This product works wonders, long story short. I use to have locs for a long time and recently transitioned to the 540 waves hair style. So that involves me wearing a durag on a nightly basis. I use to wear the durag tightly which caused a dark mark on my forehead ( only needs to be snug). I researched and came across this product. Lets just say my skin is clear now and is looking good. It comes with 2 bars of soap, and man does it smell amazing!Also dont be fooled by its size, if you only use it solely on the dark spots of your body ( it will last a long time, Im still on the 1st bar), no skin irritation, has natural ingedients!
