I bought this for my friend’s 7-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loved it! The game is a lot of fun, with great quality pieces that are all included in the set.It’s a perfect game for Pokémon lovers, it is easy for kids to learn and enjoy. The whole family can join in, which adds to the fun. Highly recommend this as a gift for young Pokémon fans!

The media could not be loaded. I bought this game for my 7-year-old daughter who loves Pokémon and she LOVED it! She isn’t even super into all the official technical ways to play and to battle, but she still has so much fun playing this game in her own way. For those who wants to play the official way there are detailed instructions as well as tutorial videos they give you links to. All of the pieces of the game are good quality. I paid $15 for it, which I felt was a fair value. I would recommend this game for Pokémon lovers.

Its 3 decks, they are simple, and not good, they each only have 1 card thats actually strong, or what i call them, win conditions, which are the 3 V cards, everything else in the decks suck asides from trainers.BUT. That does not mean this isnt worth it, if anything its actually amazing, you get a total of 180 cards, and since its all type of cards, these are great building blocks for your own decks. I was able to not only edit an older deck i made and made it way better, but was also able to make 3 new good decks by attaching more win conditions to the decks.all 3 of the battle academies are great for people who like making multiple types of decks, since you get so many trainers and energy cards.5/5 stars

It is so nice have a board to set our cards up on. I play pokemon with my 7 year old andhaving to unfold the flimsy paper that comes in a deck box was lame. So happy they came out with an actual board. The beginners decks that come with it are just that, a beginners deck; but so nice to have when teaching a child to play for the first time. Great for learning to play.

Nice beginner starter kit to learn the game
Perfect as described and top quality. The decks are absolutely helping to learn the game properly and can be expanded by buying further pre built deck. Totally recommended for kids and adults too who want dive into pokémon world.

Mon fils adore ce jeu de plateau. Il est difficile à comprendre au début lorsque l’on est pas familier avec l’univers des Pokémon. Il m’a fallu du temps avant de savoir jouer.Le jeu possède de nombreuses subtilités qu’un enfant de 6 ans (âge recommandé sur la boîte) ne peut pas saisir.Idéalement il faut aussi savoir lire afin de pouvoir organiser ses combats / ses attaques.Les différents decks disponibles à l’achat (ou à construire) du JCC modifient le jeu à chaque fois.
