Good solution to a household problem. We were having build up in our wash machine after each use and the door either swings wide open or closed up tight. This gadget gives a small gap in the door enabling for the machine to kind of air dry and not have to be closed up tight with the moisture from a recent wash cycle. It is easy to use and very sturdy. The magnet is super strong but my 5yr old can still manipulate its use. It is bendable and able to work for any size opening we would want. I am glad this little device has worked as it said it would and does what was advertised.

We need to keep the door of our front loading washer open to prevent the moldy smell from forming. But the door of our laundry room’s door is always in the way and it ends up closing. This sturdy tool helps keep the washer’s door open. The magnet is very strong. The arm is sturdy but very bendable and flexible. This allows you to bend it in different ways to keep the door open in different angles. It is a very useful tool and is a great value for the money.

Love this little gadget. Have been using front loading washer for over 20 years and I always had to open the loading door after a wash to prevent odor build up. The door would try to close on its own so I have been using a towel as a door stop to prevent it close completely. This gadget solve my problem in flying color. The strong magnet makes the installation a breeze and can be removed anytime. It works like a door latch, can adjust the size of the gap easily and the door is free in one easy swerve of the "latch". Whoever designed this is a genius.Love it and highly recommend it.

This works perfectly on our dryer to let it air out between cycles without having the door open all the way. I don’t wash clothes everyday so in the summer the dryer needs to assistance. The magnet holds firmly to the machine and the arm is long and very bendable. This works well and I would recommend.

Every time I would try to get clothes out of my dryer, the door just kept hitting me in the head. This is amazing easy to use. Magnet hook is perfect. I just stuck it to the side of the dryer and when I open the door, it easily can hook on and hold it open, so it no longer hits me in the head. I wish I had found this a year ago when I got my new washer and dryer it’s awesome.

Great inexpensive solution
The media could not be loaded. Review edited on July 28/25 - we have had this for under a year and the metal that bends to create a shape to hold your door has broke at the bottom, close to where the magnet is. This makes it harder to create a shape that stays and doesn’t work as well as it did before. We are still able to make it function for us but just isn’t as sturdy as when we got it. I feel like it should last longer since it hasn’t even been a year. Maybe it’s just a defect and doesn’t happen to everyone though. I’d still give it 4 stars.This silicone door holder is an excellent tool for anyone with a front-load washer.
