Caveat: I am switching medications from Escitalopram to Wellbutrin, and this may explain *some* of the positive weight loss, but the appetite suppression is legit.After taking this for few days, I had less "tummy rumbling" hunger when I'd wake up for work (I'm a night worker, and we are "at risk" for weight gain as an occupation.)I take 1 when I wake up for work, and one when it's time for sleep. The main thing I notice, is the absence of my stomach "telling" me to eat. I believe there is a specific hormone, possibly Ghrelin, that triggers this uncomfortable "pseudo-hunger" feeling, and this supplement seems to manage it well. This is my 2nd month on this. I tolerate it nicely.The white kidney bean extract is a bonus, as I was already taking a supplement for this, so this combination saves me some pocket change.The first month, I didn't notice the "fullness" feeling so much, but this week I have, after buying healthy groceries, I'm a little mad that I was instantly full after a few bites of something I thought was "cheating" with.I'm happily impressed with this. Please!! Please!! Please!! Don’t waste your money this did not stop my hunger and only gave me headaches this really taught me that nothing replaces discipline and self control just get the self control to throw away the food if you need to but don’t waste your money wish I could give zero stars

I've used glucomannan powder before for dieting purposes but just recently discovered it in pill format. It's amazing!!! forget the others stuff in the pill - that's all gimmick. Glucomannan powder is all fiber basically. You know those camping towels that are the size of a lemon until you add water and then they turn into a full size towel? that's what this stuff is. Take it with water and POOF, your system is filled with fiber so you feel full. Make sure to drink a LOT of water or you will definitely have bowel issues. My job has me working with food for 10+ hours a day so I'm always hungry but these pills make me forget about food entirely. I only take a half dose too! Start with a half dose and work your way up. It's fiber - if you haven't been getting enough fiber then you'll have cramping, etc at first so start slow. And let's be honest, most of us don't have the diet we should so... start slow. I haven't been taking it long enough to count pounds that have come off (I also broke my toe so no working out now) but I can tell you that my normal snack times every day have come and gone and I have NOT cared one bit.

It took a couple of days for me to fill the affects but it does suppress my appetite. The only downfall is when it wears off I find myself starving. So I make sure to split up the dose. One in the morning and one midday. Doing it this way I’m not starving by dinner time.

I used this as directed, exercised and everything. It just didn't work for me. I was about to start eating napkins, but I finished the bottle just to make sure but nope. Stayed hungry.
