5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality
Recently moved into a house with a wood stove and needed a hatchet to split kindling. I picked this because it was priced low and I didn't want to spend too much. I was so impressed with it. It is sharp and of good weight, the guard and cover are great accessories as well. I use it very often and it does it's job great! I love the size of it, it is easy to use. So useful, and seems like it will last for a while!
5.0 out of 5 stars A good size a nice handle
Bought this from my son-in-law.He absolutely loves it.He wanted a camping ax.And this here fit the bill. The handle was nice. The blade is nice.I think it will do him fine
4.0 out of 5 stars Seems to be great so far.
It definitely needs to be sharpened so that is the only reason I gave it a four star. I am not an expert with axes, but I need sharpener now It’s not too heavy so as an older female, it’s not hard to use
5.0 out of 5 stars Hit what??
I was looking for a small hatchet for backpacking / camping purposes and found this cost effective option. The product was packaged securely and is extremely sharp when it arrived. The balance and weight of the hatchet combined with the rubberized coating on the handle makes this an awesome purchase! One thing that might have gotten lost in translation - dudu... Maybe dodo? Either way, the name may be funny but the product is serious!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good little hatchet
Finally got to use for the first time on a backpacking trip. Nice and sharp, didn’t dull very fast. Cut a lot of wood on the last 4 day backpacking trip. Light enough to not make much impact on pack weight, feels good in your hand.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice lightweight hatchet
Perfect gift for my 13 year old Boy Scout grandson. Quality sheath to cover it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Poor handles, ok for light use.
Bought as cheap axes for throwing, they need sharpening, metals is soft, but the curve of blade sticks good. Handles are poor, they have a fiberglass core but rubber over it that comes off in heave use and throwing. Not bad for price though and good for smaller people.
Great axe.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I just received my axe vary impressed it has good weight, let the axe do the work, really sharp could possibly shave with it,I recommend it.
Pretty decent weight
Solid!
Really nice
Took this to a secret Santa game party and everyone loved it. It’s a great hatchet.
Poor quality and craftsmanship
I was not expecting the best at the price I paid. There is a limite to how bad something can be made. The axe head is off center, notch in the metal, sharpening is uneven that suggests the angle is uneven. When looking at it from the top the wedge is actually off. It is curved to the right. I did not even want to try it out. It’s not safe and can’t predict how the head will react. I’ve owned 20$ hatchets with a better axe head. The handle seems good, since I didn’t swing the axe I can’t say if it is comfortable for the grip and impact.I’m disappointed in the build quality. I returned it the next day not even wanting to risk using it.
Dull
Not bad, but dull and full of little imperfections.
