It does exactly what I was looking for. You can control the amount of water that flows through the sponge by the amount of pressure you exert.

So far so good. Just getting use to how to use this without it leaking. I like it. I have used it to seal some envelops. I keep it upright in my pen cup and have no problem with water spilling. It's easy to use once you practice a few times. Comes with 4. I will share with family. I only need one. Great value for what you are getting. Functions well.

These moisteners were perfect for my Christmas cards. They did not leak or add to much water, like plain sponges have done in the past. Super cheap, so no reason not to purchase!

I have used these for years, mine was falling apart after 40+ years of use. Bought 4 because of the pricing and gave one to my sister, one to my sister-in-law, using one and have a backup for myself. I use them on my Christmas cards. I send out 66 of them, so perfect for that job, or anytime you don't want to lick an envelope. ;)
