My 11y son has loved his hoverboard we gave him for Christmas. He was only using it indoors and after six weeks stopped working. I reached out to GoTrax and worked with Fiona. She was amazing at communicating the triage process and quickly responding to my questions. Unfortunately we ultimately needed to replace the board, but the process very smooth (apart from me needing to find a box to ship it back.) I have to say while it’s always frustrating to have something malfunction, gotrax was great to work with. We just got the new board a week ago, and so far working great again. 5 stars because they stood behind their product

I purchased this for my 7 year old grandson for Christmas and because it was Winter he didn't start using it until April.In mid May it wouldn't charge. My grandson loved using it until then.I called customer service and they told me it was out of warranty because I purchased it more than six months ago, even though it was only used for about a month.They said that I could purchase a new charger or battery but they don't have any in stock! They said I could be put on a waiting list for parts but they don't guarantee that replacing them will fix the problem.So my grandson is crying and I can't have it repaired because there is NO customer support or parts to fix it.I also bought the kart attachment so now I have over $300 invested in Christmas presents that are useless!Don't buy from GoTrax because they don't care about disappointing a 7 year old or their products!

Bought 2 of these for Christmas gifts for my boys 7 & 10. They both broke by end of July-ish, so they were used for about 4mo. The middle of both hoverboards caved in for lack of a better way to describe it. My kids are well under the weight limit (90lb &100lb) & no one else rides them. Normal usage of them in my opinion. The all-terrain tires did not last either, they are pretty bare and treadless. I bought this brand because the last one we had of this lasted 6+ years through before it finally gave out and just quit charging. So my kids are pretty disappointed, that these didn't even make it through the summer.That all said! I reached out to GoTrax directly and was given AMAZING customer service once they responded (took almost 2 wks for them to get back to me). They requested pics, proof of purchase, and to return the broken hoverboards - they provided shipping labels & covered the cost. We just had to box them which was a tad challenging since I didn't save the ones they came in, so that was my bad. I typically save boxes!

The only drawback is the battery life but other than that we are very pleased with the quality of this hoverboard for the price. I bought this for my 7 year old son over a year ago for Christmas and he doesn't use it as much as I would have like him to be cause we live on a transient street but he uses it around the house and on the sidewalk and in the driveway. It's easy enough to transport so he brings it to his grandmother's house too. It has held up very well. The motor is very quiet. I have heard some cheap ones that are really loud. The lights and sleek black look have kept up and are really cool looking and it has been a great addition to his collection of electric toys. I am looking to buy a Gotrax escooter for him this year.

After reading great reviews i decided to buy this hoverboard for my nephew's 7th birthday present. He absolutely LOVED IT. The options in colors and cool lights, the smooth ride, and over all sleek presentation completely captivated him. As for most kids, it was easy for him to learn how to ride it and and truly enjoyed it for a while. However, even after taking good care of his hoverboard, two weeks before the guarantee expired, it broke down. His mom used the GREAT resources this company offers in their webpage to trouble-shoot to no avail. Although a bit disappointing, it is expected that even from a great company, once in a while the product will break down. What was not at all disappointing was this company's AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I contacted the company a few days before the expiration of the guarantee and they were great. My nephew's mom promptly received all the necessary materials to return the hoverboard and get a new replacement. When she took a bit longer than expected to return the board, the company contacted us to make sure we had all we needed for the return and to ask if we needed further assistance. I truly valued the interest in this company to make good to the promise that this product's guarantee gives to the customers. Finally, when they received the broken-down hoverboard they sent a brand new one to my nephew. He is, once again, fully in love with his hoverboard, so much so that he has decided he will ask Santa Clause for another one so that when his friends come over to his house they can all play with them without having to wait for their turn.

The Gotrax Nova works as expected and the kids love it. Took a day for them to not be scared to use it as to falling off or the fear of falling, but after day one they have been using it nonstop with still learning to completely self balance. This has been the most used item in the house knocking the nintendo switch from spot 1 to spot 2. Item arrived with out any damages. The main issue is Gotrax forgot to include the charger in the box. We chatted with Bolo on the issue as the machine has no damage didn't want to have to drive to the UPS store to return it. Bolo offered a discount for the charger missing. I reached out to Gotrax support and was told to email them after which I should get a reply with a case number and they will send out the charger. I am still waiting for Gotrax to reply back to me. I am hopefully the charger will get sorted soon. Otherwise I will return the item for an exchange. Since I have no charger yet I am giving the battery life five stars.
Du Québec n’achetez pas ça, c’est une vraie cochonnerie, ça n’a pas duré deux semaines.

The hoverboard broke but was QUICKLY replaced by the company. Great customer service - speedy response, follow up and resolved the issue.
Arrived scratched and box with damage
This is a Xmas gift. The box arrived damaged.Opened it to inspect and the hoverboard is scratched… looks like it’s been used.Sending it back.
Damaged before use
This is how the product came and it’s scratched on the side where the box is opened. Will be returning so can’t speak to the item mechanically.
