20 year old blender blade had a bunch of metal paste at the bottom, so it was time to get a new blade. This works fine, but doesn't thread as well onto my mason jars, causing a little of my shake to leak into the plastic cap. The old blender base threaded perfectly and didn't leak. Ended up using the plastic screw cap from the old blender, and the new blade. Did much better.

Purchased this set just for the blade actually, for my 30 year old Osterizer blender! Fit perfectly, and saved me from having to replaced my good old girl! Arrived quickly and I'm back to my smoothies....
