So I bought this to acid wash my in ground pool at work. I’m a Chief Engineer for a hotel and I heard from another Chief that this stuff was amazing. I bought it and it really did an amazing job with basically zero smells. I only used goggles and rubber gloves to do the entire pool and the lack of fumes was pretty amazing. It did exactly what muriatic acid would have done except without the dangers. I’ll be buying this again next year for the same purpose as we do it every year. Now for the downside, I put it in my acid feeder instead of muriatic acid. I believe it was way too thin to be putting it in the feeder. It worked for like 2 days then it stopped. I think it was so thin that it wasn’t feeding and the black acid approved hose wore a hole or something in it or it collapsed in on itself so now no acid will work without replacing the hoses.

Great product at a competitive price Doesn’t burn like traditional formulas. Glad it’s available in bulk for even more savings !!!

Product is a SCAM! I checked the pH of pure muriatic acid: 7.6. It is actually alkaline! It will never reduce pH, even if adding 20 gallons. It also clouds the water. I just purchased 8 gallons of this non-returnable liquid. Don't waste your money on this product. TOTAL SCAM!

Will probably not buy this again but the no odor may win out and I'll get more. It takes twice as much to change the PH as what I get from the pool store and costs more. Still stings when you get some splash on you. Nice not hurting your sinesus or having to hold your breath but cost is prohibitive for me.

I had new pool plaster and needed a large amount of acid to counter act the curing process that raises pH. this worked well, liked that it is a "safer" version of acid since we have kids around.
