The serum works well as the first layer of product on my face and makes it feel smooth. I have rosacea and this product does not seem to aggravate it. The only issue I have is the scent is a little strong.

This serum is a milky white and lightweight. Although mostly absorbed, I did feel it left a thin layer on top of my skin, which felt pleasantly moisturizing. The plant alternative to retinol did NOT irritate my skin at all. It smoothed my fine lines and skin tone.What I did not like is the scent. It's a sweet floral with a bit of sourness. I didn't care for this type of floral at all - it smelled fake rather than fresh. If this were offered with a more pleasing scent, or fragrance free, it would be 5 stars.I also had trouble with the pump, but not sure if that was just a fluke. I thought I would give this a try to use on my sensitive areas of my face instead of retinol.First off, the scent is terrible. Imagine finding a bottle of b&bw lotion that's been at the bottom of box for 10, 15 years. You see that it's changed colors and maybe slightly separated. You get curious, open it up and sniff. Ugh! Yeah. It smells like that.Second, the consistency is more suitable for dry skins. I have combination and it made my face feel greasy. It also didn't absorb well, leading to pilling or rubbing off if I put more than 1 drop on.Third, the star ingredient is pretty far down the list. I would think for something that's supposed to rival retinol products, you would make it more concentrated.The only positive is that it caused zero irritation.

I have tried quite a few REN skincare productsOver the years. Most were ok… nothing amazing in my opinion. However since I have a skincare obsession when this REN Clean Skincare - Bio Retinoid Youth Serum was offered for review I figured it was worth a try.I am so glad I did! This stuff is awesome! Legitimately the best serum I have tried in a good while, and definitely the best product by REN I have ever tried!This comes in a bottle with a pump, I will say the pump isn’t my favorite, but that is the only thing I can complain about! The serum is creamy and has an almost slightly silicone like feel to it making it glide easily onto your skin. It absorbs very well and doesn’t leave any stickiness or residue other than moisturized looking and feeling skin. It also plays well with my other skin care products.But the best part is the results thus far! My skin looks noticeably more plump and even. I have not really seen much difference in the fine lines I have, but that’s ok since it does such wonders for my complexion and evenness!Overall highly recommend this one!

Swapped from my old REN cream to this serum.

I took a bit of a risk with this and decided to buy the serum and not the cream like I usually do. I paid £32 ish for this item instead if the retail price of £61 in the sale. The cream version of this gives you 50ml and the serum? Only 30ml. So I have lost 20ml and paid more for the serum than the cream.I actually ran out of the cream version that I also bought from Bolo (the one on the left side of the photo) so needed it replaced. So decided on taking a chance with this.So far so good.I’ve been using REN skincare for years now and it’s made a remarkable difference on my face and fine lines. Especially the retinol products they sell. My skin can handle high doses of retinol now so no burning or stinging sensation.I’m not sure what the difference will be compared to the cream but we will see. I will update this post once I’ve been using it for a while. ☺️☺️🇬🇧

Il prezzo sembra alto ma è un ottimo siero e ne basta poco. Non è molto liquido e acquoso (che per me è una cosa positiva) è un prodotto fluido ma consistente. Lo trovo efficacie. Lascia la pelle morbidissima e va bene anche per chi ha la pelle mista. Io adoro i prodotti REN (ho preso anche la crema di questa linea, ottima anche quella). Ingredienti naturali e Niacinamide al quarto posto dell'inci (quindi un'ottima percentuale). È un prodotto che consiglio assolutamente. Per vedere rughette attenuate, dovrò aspettare di utilizzarlo un po' di più

I use a lot of Ren products but had not tried this one.I am a female in her 50's. Afer a few weeks of use, I honestly have seen an improvement in how my nasobial folds look. They do not look so defined when I use this product. My face looks firmer and fuller in that area, plus it seems to have made the skin on my neck appear firmer too. It also gives a fresh look to my skin as well.This product sinks in quickly to my skin, and leaves no greasy or tacky after feel. It is ideal for using alone or underneath make up. It leaves a soft and silky feeling which makes for a great base when applying my foundation.It does not seem as moisturising as the other Ren Youth product which is the Cream version. For my skin which is combination this Serum is better suited. I sometimes use a moisturiser over the top then sunblock and foundation.I will purchase this product again and highly recommend it.
