5.0 out of 5 stars Way More than I Expected
Due to a lack of counter space, I have only allowed myself one blending device for a couple of decades. For several years I had a Ninja (the first model) that I never really liked and I was happy to let it go when I got a great deal on a classic Vitamix. I used that daily for over 14 years and when I moved across several state lines this year I decided to let it go and upgrade to a newer model when I got settled. The one I purchased was over $400 and although the container was larger and easier to clean than my classic model, its blending capability could only be described as feeble. I contacted customer service and could purchase an additional, narrower pitcher for $150 that might possibly work better...but it might not.I decided to return it and look at food processors. I haven't had a food processor since the early to mid 90's so I read a bunch of reviews and chose what I thought would serve my purposes best. I could not be more pleased with my choice! The Magiccos 14 cup Processor arrived early and in perfect condition. Though, I have to say, when I picked up the box to bring it in the house I was VERY skeptical. It was so LIGHT. All I could think of was that it was one of those "Dollar-Store-Quality" items you so frequently get from Bolo. I took it out of the box and stared at it for a couple of days trying to decide if I should try it out or just return it. I figured since I had already returned the Vitamix I may as well give it a shot. The base is very light. My Vitamix was a heavy beast and the old Cuisinarts were quite hefty, as well. The storage drawer was worth the extra money as one of the things I disliked about food processors was storing all the blades and attachments. I also like that the spinning element is an enclosed housing. I makes the bowl so much easier to clean. Operationally, it blends even better than my classic Vitamix did...and way better than the processors of old. It is a little loud, but still quieter that the Vitamix and Ninja. Because the base is so light, when it begins to blend it will rock a little bit. Easily managed by placing my hand on top for the first few seconds. This would be completely solved if the only flaw I have found could be corrected. The "feet" are floppy rubber discs which are completely ineffective. If Magiccos would replace those with something more like a suction cup the "rocking" issue would disappear. In short, if you are looking for a good quality, effective processor, you should at least consider the Magiccos 14 cup!
5.0 out of 5 stars Best purchase ever
This is the best purchase we ever made. No looking for the attachments, easy to clean. Only thing I would add is another thicker slicing blade. 1 and 2 are great but would like a thicker one than that for certain foods.

5.0 out of 5 stars update
This is an update; I still like the processor but I have cut myself 3 times. The slicing blade needs to snap onto the center stake, so when it is time to take it apart it needs some force. This requires you to grab the tiny center of the slicing blade to try and twist it off and inevitably your fingers are going to slip. The first time was a little cut, so I have been very careful after that. Today (while being very careful) it happened again and I have a good sized slice out of my middle finger. Then I donned my rubber gloves for washing and while just trying to clean the grooves between the upper and lower slicing blade, the blade once again got me - went through the rubber of the glove an sliced my index nail into the flesh. There needs to be a better solution to using this blade.I decided to try this Magiccos food processor because they had such a great price listed and I liked the features of all the included blades. I have only been able to use it a few times so far, but it has worked great. I course shredded some carrots, sliced celery, and made peanut butter. The machine didn't have any trouble at all power-wise, the blades are easy to interchange, and the results were good.I like the variable power option also. I ended up using a lower power for the peanut butter, to avoid it getting too creamy. Usually I have to keep pulsing, but the Magiccos medium power number did just fine.I have one complaint, that is that the large feeding tube must have the lid closed in order to turn the machine on. This prevents feeding longer large items all at once - they must be cut short enough to go in the feeding tube and have the lid closed. I was told this was a USA restriction for "safety". Typical - in our country our government thinks it needs to save us from ourselves and assumes stupidity of all citizens. What I was REALLY impressed with is the customer service of this company .... GREAT customer service! Such a rare thing to find these days. After my order I immediately got an email saying the company was aware of my purchase, and gave me contact info in case I had any problems or questions. When my processor first arrived, I couldn't find the chopping blades. I contacted the company and they immediately send new ones. They continued to keep contact through email, to make sure everything arrived as expected, and followed up to see if I had used the processor and make sure all was well.So impressive! I wish more companies gave their customers such care.
1.0 out of 5 stars 14-Cup French-Fry-Cutter Storage-Drawer Food Processor
Review: 14-Cup French-Fry-Cutter Storage-Drawer Food ProcessorI was excited to try this food processor, mainly because of its large 14-cup capacity and built-in storage drawer—both great features for keeping things organized in the kitchen. The wide chute is also a nice touch, making it easy to fit larger ingredients without too much prep work. However, despite the promising design, this processor falls short in performance. The French fry cutter struggles to cut potatoes, making it nearly useless for that purpose. Additionally, it does not grate cheese properly, which is a major disappointment if you plan to use it for shredding. To make things worse, I've already had to replace the cutting blades within just a couple of months, which raises concerns about durability and build quality.Overall, while the size and storage are convenient, the performance issues make this processor frustrating to use. If you're looking for something reliable for slicing, shredding, and chopping, you may want to consider other options.

Found this and love it. I love the storage tray. No more digging around to find the blade that I wanted. All there and easy to see. Powerful enough to get the job done. Suction cups on the bottom of the unit keeps it in place on the counter. Easily clean in the dishwasher. It is a little bigger than what I wanted but with what it does, size is not a deal breaker for me.
It cuts whole potatoes into fries.
Not only does it slice different thicknesses, it cuts a whole potato into fries. The storage drawer is a nice bonus. It has and does everything that the writeup says.I LOVE this food processor. My daughter saw mine and wanted one as well.
Adequate
I had concerns about this Food processor's motor as it had a smell at the beginning but the company contacted me to address my concerns. I'm not a huge fan of the amount of shaking this food processor does, and would have preferred full metal discs for the cutters instead of different inserts in a plastic disc but it does the job. I'm most impressed by the customer serviced offered by the manufacturer so that leaves me with a good overall impression of this product and it's future performance.
