Fantastic head unit. Tons of adjustments, 5 volt pre outs, very happy with it! A substantial upgrade over my alpine 175bt. My only grievance is when you are adjusting the eq the sound stops for just a second, but only a minor annoyance. Gonna buy two more just to have as finding these features in a single din stereo is becoming a dying breed.

The media could not be loaded. Dropped in a 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Installation was a breeze (if you are using the factory amp, make sure you connect the blue/white stripe "Continuous Power" wire to the solid blue "Power Antenna" wire on the vehicle harness, otherwise your sub won't turn on; if you have an aftermarket amp it will have it's own C Power wire).The colors/lighting and quality are top notch. HIGHLY recommend any head units from the Kenwood Excelon series

So I upgraded from a Kenwood bt270 because it couldn’t power my 4ohm speaker without clipping after 10 minutes at high volume. Previously had infinity kapppa 4x6s in the front and rear of my Kenworth dump truck which are 3ohm and it would only last a song or two before complete static. I knew this radio had pretty much the same heat sink but figured I would give it a try since I love the fit finish and just how the kenwoods are set up. I can listen to music for about an hour but still even after changing to all 4ohm speakers I still get clipping. It’s not a huge deal just have to give it a break sometime but for the price i wish it could handle what it’s rated for. Overall it’s a really nice head unit and easy to install you will figure it out quickly after messing around. Has all the adjustments you need in a single din.

Always loved kenwood .. Great stereo alot of power and easy to control and adjust ,set up has alot of features as well.

Bought it for the 5v av ports. 3 sets of pre amp outputs. 1 dedicated just for your subs. Makes tuning amp much easier getting the 5v or very to it. Which helps you tune to the wattage you need. And you can still play CDs which most don't have these days. Best one on the market in this price range.

The memory does not work on this model . This the second kenwood i purchased it starts out working fine and then it will not play where you left off at I will not buy another one from Bolo I tried different models and out of three of them only one works the rest of them are flawed Bolo must have got them cheap stay away from them.

Awesome!, just awesome!, I've always had respect for the Kenwood name going way back, just know this eXcelon KDC-X305 model is the one you want if you are running it to an amplifier and subwoofers, mid range and/or tweeters, the RCA jacks push out the 5 volts you need, the other is only 2.5 volts, not enough ummph! 5 stars for this one! Thanks Kenwood & Bolo for lightning speed shipping!
