They charge even on a cloudy day and stay on all night with no problem at all. I even have some extra sets of them just in case. Because on one of the sets I have discovered that something likes to chew the bulbs off. It's not a huge problem because even with a couple of the bulbs chewed off the rest of them remain on. I will just be a little more careful where I place something in that General area. I think it's squirrels. But again, it's no problem and I highly recommend these.

One of the set of four lights will not turn off in the daylight. I emailed customer support and am not receiving a response.UPDATE: I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning and reordering, but I did. I received a new set within 24 hours and they work perfectly.

These enhance the outside of your home. Everyone that drives by will envy the extra touch. They worked the night I received them and haven’t failed going on since they were placed in my backyard and around my house. They are exactly what I needed after our depressing winter. They will definitely brighten your mood!

I love these little lights. I bought them last summer and they work great this summer too (except for a couple bulbs that won’t light). My suggestion to the company would be to make the battery compartment more water tight. I went to change the batteries in a couple and the compartments wreak of mold with mold covering the batteries. I had never taken the backs off of these until today.

They take some playing with to fan them out, but they're very cute. If in direct sunlight all day they will glow all night. Would have been 5/5 if they fanned out more.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought item for garden. I liked the first set I bought and wanted to place another set. They work really well and are bright!

Appears to be well made and it lights up nicely at night with a good amount of light. Just wish the solar panel could be detached from the light so it could be placed elsewhere as it charges the unit. Also wish the strands leading up to the lights were green because the black color is not attractive during the day and stands out against my plants.

These are nice, sturdy, with a warm glow. The only problem is, in the sun, they've gone almost flat to the ground instead of "hovering" like fireflies. I've tried to bend them back up but they just hang down. Still has a nice effect in my garden, just not the one advertised.

Failed in less than 10 months

Look nice and hold charge well overnight however failed in less than 10 months and they are sealed so you cant gain access to the battery.

The light glows as shown in picture but barely for an hour. Despite the solar battery gets charged all day,the light survives an hour in the evening and goes off. Not worth the money.. absolutely overpriced

Had a little trouble at the beginning but now these charge every day and stay on for several hours at night. Over a few weeks the lights bend in the wind and need to be rearranged back to the spacing we like. They even work in cold winter weather if the solar plate isn't covered in snow.
