These clippers open wide enough so that you can comfortably cut your nails . They are easy to use and are very sharp . I would highly recommend these clippers.

What a delight! First of all, the packaging is so impressive on its own, I kinda fell in love with these before I even tried them, lol! They come in a silver metal box with a lid. They are housed in snug, black foam, along with a complimentary nail file. It seems to be made out of clear plastic material. It's not good compared to a regular emery board or "sandpaper" style nail file. But it looks almost elegant and gets the job done. When I finally picked up the clippers to cut my fingernails, I was impressed with its weight and durability! Then, I used them. The cutting mechanism is so smooth and easy, it was an actual pleasure to cut my nails. Luckily, they grow quickly, so I'll be able to use these again soon, haha! My nails are thick and sometimes, it takes actual effort to squeeze and clip with regular nail clippers. Not these. Easy as pie and super comfortable in my aging hand. I would buy these again in a heartbeat and will likely send them as Christmas gifts to friends and family.

These are very sturdy; they have a nice weight to them so they feel well made. They do exactly what I needed. I have one annoyingly thick toe nail on my big toe. I cannot get regular toenail clippers around it. I have been cutting off tiny pieces and trying to work at it that way. I'm so glad I found these clippers! They save me so much time and headache. It makes light work of my stubborn thick nail. They have the capability to get much, much wider than I even need. And they cut right through the nail. Best purchase I've made in a while!

I love the wide jaw on these Clippers. They are effortless to use, and seem to be very sturdy. Just beware because they are razor sharp. I literally cut my toenails as I always do, very short. I don't believe I cut them shorter than normal, however, I made three of my nail beds bleed just by cutting them short like I did with my old clippers. I didn't hemorrhage or anything, but it definitely got my strict attention. I didn't even notice at first because it gave such an easy quick cut. It took a second for the nails to bleed. If you're older, and you don't have feeling in your toes due to neuropathy or other maladies, you may want to get nail clippers that are a little less sharp. Needless to say, they do work well though. I'll just be a little more careful next time.
