I've been using an electric can opener for years because the handheld ones didn't do a good job opening large cans. I decided to try this handheld can opener after my electric can opener broke. I really like this can opener, the handles and lever seem very sturdy. I've been using it for over 3 months and no problems so far.

Here's hoping. I have bought all of the name brand can openers and they all end up bending and not working at some point. This has been a great find thus far and we're happy with the durability of the product.

I love this can opener! It's so much easier of my hands and much easier to deal with, in my opinion, than electric ones. (Which have a habit of not latching right to pierce and go through the cans.) It hasn't shown signs of needing replaced, my hands don't hurt so bad afterwards even with arthritis. Overall I love it.

Glad to have a can opener that is built solidly. It is easy to place on the can and easily cuts through the metal. I believe this will last along time to come and at $15 it is a steal.

The grip is comfortable. The blades grip in the right spot. It turns really easy. I don’t know what else you can say about a can opener but this one is entirely satisfactory .

My electric can opener stopped working and I then realized I had NO manual can opener! I ordered this and it is SO much easier to operate than my OLD manual can opener! I will always keep this on hand now! Great can opener. Easy to operate for someone with arthritis!
