5.0 out of 5 stars Best out of the box hiker

I work food service delivery running down ramps, all surfaces, all weather. Lightweight, comfortable, and durable. I retire them after six months because they start to wear out from the amount wear on them from the job. I'm a big guy and shoes never last. Better than wearing work boots for the amount of walking I do.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best boot ever made.
Literally the most comfortable, practical hiking/work boot in existence. I have one pair for work, and one for hiking. 38 years old, and my feet never hurt anymore, even after long hikes or work shifts where I am on ladders, walking, shifting. I hope they never stop making these.
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable
Comfortable right out of the box. I have tried it out on walks (9 miles so far) and it is quite comfortable. I have not yet tried it on a trail, but so far, so good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love It, Love It, Don't Change It
Love this hiking boot! My size 13 foot is hard to fit, but the Moab not only fit but from day 1 was extremely comfortable to walk in. I did size up to a 14 to allow for sock thickness since I had tried on a 13 and it felt too tight with the sock - maybe the Moab runs a 1/2 size small? Good looking, traditional look boot and seems to handle wet rocks fine. For a 220lb guy, I find the sole to not be too rigid when hiking over dirt, shale, rocks, etc. That said, I would not rock climb in the boot but then its not really made for that.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Boots for General Use
Definitely my favorite pair of boots for general use. Range, hiking, training, etc. Nice and lightweight and super easy to break in.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best Gen Yet, I love these MOAB’s
I first heard about Merrill Boots while I was in the Marine Corps and eventually was issued these, and fell in love with them. They were the first gen MOAB’s they were light and very comfortable, now that I have retired I wanted a better hiking book for when I go camping and working around the my cabin, the fit is amazing, the color is spot on and I love how the new gen has more aggressive traction, which is a huge plus. Overall these feel better than what I had and I know that the durability of these boots will last a long time. Plus they are 100% waterproof and when you pair these with OR gaiters you are golden for any adventure.
5.0 out of 5 stars These are wonderful.
Amazing boots. Easy to break in. I completed a 20 mile hiking challenge after wearing them for two months and had no issues. This is the pair of boots you want.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Boot Right Out Of The Box
Great pair of hiking boots. I hike a 5 mile loop through the forest rain or shine and these boots are great. Rugged enough to handle climbing rocks, logs, etc. Waterproof enough to deal with streams, puddles and rain. Padding around the ankle is perfect. Sole is thick but not workboot thick so there's flex. Traction is good. Super comfortable with no break-in and sized accurately.
Robusta, solado com boas agarras
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Bom custo benefício, solado de muito boa qualidade e com ótimas agarras .
Nice well built shoe!
I ordered these tried them on and sent them back. I give them five stars because they were a great shoe. They fit well everything about them was nice, but I just didn’t like the high top not for me. But they seem like they’d be a great shoe.
Comfort and grip
Not disappointed. Comfortable, robust, and grippy. Can walk all day in these. My last pair lasted five years and took me through Europe and many trails here in Australia. These are a newer and upgraded version and so far after about 120 km of trails, they are killing it. Highly recommend.
