It also has very easy to plug in my laptop, due to the design. I had no issues with it over heating.

Works well. Purchased for a friend who loves it for transferring photos and documents. Quality is as expected for the price. Transfer speed is 2.0 but a newer 3.0 version is available for just a couple extra bucks. Connects well. Would purchase again.
