5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for the family
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } We bought this during the summer and was able to keep it assembled in the yard for a couple months. Very durable through the elements of heat, wind, and rain. It only faded slightly, but that we didn't mind since we were able to keep it up so long. It only fell once with some high winds. Easy to assemble, but it would be best to have at least 2 people helping. We are looking forward to putting it back up in the yard this summer.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality!
Good quality and it survived Idaho wind 😬😁
5.0 out of 5 stars Safe and good quality
Great long lasting quality and safe for commercial use. Easy and quick to assemble and put away.
5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the price
After using a cheap $50 net from Big 5, this thing is a Rolls Royce in comparison. Everything is built well and looks to last, we have used it weekly and often multiple times a week and it's still going strong. Only thing I'd suggest is some additional stakes since my original ones are pretty bent out of shape, but still work nicely regardless.Set up is easy and after doing it often it now takes about 5 to 10 minutes so long as I have assistance holding up the poles while adding tension. Adjustability in height is nice and with good setup, you can have pretty great tension better than most publicly available nets.Another nice but not essential upgrade is the lines. Rope is usable but solid 1 or 2 inch lines are way better for being able to see when a ball is on or out.I really very happy with the purchase and will definitely recommend to anyone who needs a good quality and portable volleyball net.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pole snapped in half
Edit:Jason at customer service responded to my issues right away. Park and Sun truly stands behind their product and got me a replacement pole ordered. I think this must be a fluke thing based on all the positive reviews which is why I choose this set in the first place! I would not hesitate to purchase from them again and will recommend to others! We have had this set for a month. The first time we set it up, we had no problems. This time the pole snapped in half when using the pull down feature that makes the net tight. For the price I would expect this to last longer than a month. Very disappointed
4.0 out of 5 stars Great net, stakes bend too easily
Amazing net. Only issue I saw is the stakes. First off the set doesn’t have a mallet included, so putting up the first time was fun while we all ran around looking for a mallet. And second. The stakes bent so easily and I have not been able to find anywhere that sells the same ones. They look like they should be sturdier than they actually were.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing net. Super easy to set up. Expensive, but only net out there this good.
The net was SO easy to set up. Came with all of the parts. Everything is sturdy and very well made. The net has a lot of play when someone falls into it which is nice (doesn't fall). With that said it's still sturdy and doesn't droop AT ALL. It's easy to make it tight too.Downsides:-Price (but honestly worth it. I just wish there was a cheaper competitor with 90% of the quality because none of the parts seem hard to make. Like its literally just a net with poles and ropes.)-Also the spikes or stakes that come with the set are already bending near the head of the stake after two uses. It might be how hard the ground was when I hammered it in but just keep that in mind.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy!
We are going on about a year of having this net and other nets just don’t compare. It’s easy to set up, the net is great in weather, and friends and family love it! No complaints here
Fantastic net - good price.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I was looking for a good volleyball net for casual play and just about every source mentions this one. Bought it to try myself, and I have no complaints. The net and poles are super solid and - the tensioners are a great idea and easily keep the net tension high.Don’t let the negative reviews fool you - the net is pretty straightforward to set up. You can probably set it up in under 5 minutes when you’ve done it enough times.
Good Quality Easy to Set Up System
UPDATE 2019: I've used this net once or twice every week during the summer months for nearly 5 summers now and the net is still holding up very well through beginner/intermediate level play. The rope with a little fray mentioned below never got any worse and is still holding up very well. Very durable net system. One of the corner pegs for the lines did come off over the years and disappear, but that is attributed to just wear and tear. Just used a replacement camping peg to hold it down.Original review:VERY quick delivery. Literally arrived at my door around 3 days after I ordered it. Package arrived as described, and after using it for a month and a half or so, I have to say that it is a very easy and quick to set up system. Everything you need to play is in the bag already. Just bring a volleyball! With the help of 3 or 4 friends, this can be up in 5 minutes or so. Only thing to remember to bring is a hammer to hammer the pegs into the ground as the ground can get pretty hard sometimes. I have only used it on a grass field and haven't tried beach, as I heard that sand can easily jam up the posts if you're not careful. The two issues I would have is that part way through playing, the tension in the net drops a bit periodically, causing the net to dip a bit in the middle, but nothing that a little tensioning up will fix with the tension system and that one of the yellow ropes used to keep the net up is already fraying, but if I ever need to, that can easily be replaced.
Easy set up
What an absolutely fantastic net! We have spent many hours playing VB at home and camping with friends. Great value for your money!
Durable and easy to set up
Both my kids are competitive volleyball players and this net set is amazing. We purchased it so they could continue to practise during the off season. The set up and take down is very straight forward - they do it themselves. The net does not sag. We have taken it to the park and on various camping trips and it has been great fun for all. The travel bag is perfect. We haven't tried on sand yet but will be on a camping soon. Highly recommend this item.
