This mesh pen holder is perfect to stick on the metal frame of my folding laptop desk. It holds my cell phone, glasses, and some pens so these items are handy but not taking up real estate on the desktop. The magnets are strong enough that the holder has a good grip on the desk's metal frame even with my cell phone in there. It works so well I've ordered a couple more for desktop book shelves with metal ends so I have pens handy when I'm reading.

Bought to hold remotes and markers in my kitchen and it works well. I originally bought the larger size and it was overkill so I switched it for the smaller size (pictured).The magnet could be stronger. It does slide around a bit with the lightest touch but it's never fallen. I don't hold anything heavy in it but it holds everything I need it to.

Plenty of room for all your supplies. Seems to be fairly thick metal and holds up well. Magnets stick firmly to the metal in my work area.

The perfect complement to the lockermate stacking locker shelf. Holds a good amount of pens/pencils/sharpies or markers and stays secure to the locker/metal desk/filing cabinet/etc thanks to the large magnet on the back

I bought this to use little unconventionally. I was in need of some way to store the cleaning tabs for our baby bottle washer. I wanted them off the counter and since the washer sits next to our fridge, I thought something magnetic would work best. This helps but does slide down the side of the fridge over time. The magnets could be stronger. But honestly for its intended purpose, I’m sure they’re perfect. Great quality overall.

I bought this to hang on my fridge for my dry-erase markers that I use on my magnetic calendar. No assembly needed. Just slap it right on the fridge. It's just the right size for the different markers I use. It stays right where it's placed with no slipping. Visually, it looks fine and fits in. The only minor issue is that it is a bit easy to bump as it sticks out a bit. Otherwise, perfect!

I love when some small purchase makes your life SO much easier — like, why didn’t I buy this years ago?! I now have this little magnetic basket on the side of my fridge where it keeps pens, scissors and markers in handy reach. Great price for a very useful little tool.
Weak magnets, flimsy
Arrived a bit bent/deformed. Probably from being squashed by the other heavier items in the same order, but was flimsy enough for me to bend back into shape with relative ease. Not sure how this is advertised as stainless steel to be honest. Magnets not very strong either - as I can only hold one or two pens in before its too much and falls off the board. Feels more like a dollar shop item.
Needs stronger magnets
The weak magnets let this product down. On direct metal it barely holds itself up. On a magnetic white board it just falls off.
Poor quality product
Weak magnets don't stick to magnetic whiteboard. Tried cleaning the magnet thinking there may be a plastic film but there was none. I had to throw it away because it's totally useless without the feature of sticking to magnetic boards.
