Great phone and everything works. It would have been nice if all the numbers and voicemails were removed prior to sending.

I bought six of these phones. Every single one of them has volume so low you can hardly hear. The speaker phone is also too low to hear. Yes, I have excellent hearing. Yes, my telephone company checked the lines and they are fine. The phone company technician says it is in the phones. The speaker phone is also very hard to hear as well. And it is not a duplex speakerphone for easy two way conversations. The phone is under-powered with AAA batteries instead of packs. The batteries cannot run a decent amplifier. I replaced the phones with VTech phones that look the same at the same price. No problem at all. Excellent volume and no buzzing. Instant night and day difference. Avoid these phones if you care about volume. I am the owner of the phones. I am not paid to either recommend VTech or criticize this Panasonic phone. Maybe they make other models that are better, I don't know. But all six of these are terrible.

Difficult time finding reasonably priced land phones for seniors. Large buttons with speaker option.. Only one of the phones needs to be connected to landline. The other phone can be conveniently placed anywhere near a power source.
Works well, speaker phone a bit soft
Convenient to hv 2 phones and 2 chargers. 2nd phone can be placed elsewhere permanently without needing to bring it to a central charger periodically.The speaker phone function, max volume is still a bit soft.
Good value for money
The rechargeable batteries included with the phones do not last long as compared to the other panasonic cordless phones I use.
